Wears Valley Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
Our Appalachian log cabin was built recently by our family as a vacation home. Located in an upscale mountain community in Wears Valley, it was designed to replicate the simple mountain experience found at the turn of the century. The home is constructed of logs with a metal roof for enjoying those rainy days. At 1800 square feet, it has a beautiful great room with a stone wood-burning fireplace, an eat-in kitchen with built-ins, cookware and all utensils, two large bedrooms, two full baths (master has a garden tub), and an upstairs loft area for relaxing and kicking back. The master bedroom has double doors leading to the private screen deck with a gas grill and an inviting 6-person hot tub - great for relaxing. The home also has a full basement with garage parking to keep your car or motorcycle protected from the weather. Roads to our home are wide and maintained and our driveway is asphalt making it easy to navigate. We are located on a cul de sac (with only one other cabin) providing additional parking for extra cars or motorcycle trailers.
Come stay with us and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains!

Guestbook comments from the owner
I researched many properties before finally settling on this cabin and was extremely pleased that the description accurately matched what we experienced.
This cabin is beautifully decorated, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a home away from home.
We did experience an issue with the hot tub (turned out it was our inexperience with hot tubs and really not an issue at all) and the upstairs TV, but we were able to easily contact the owners and they resolved the issues quickly.
My family and I have visited the Smokies many times before and love the area. We did what we usually do when visiting, which is shopping and touring Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee, NC.
We happened to stumble upon The Mountain Farm Museum, which is an open-air exhibit of historic farm buildings at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center near Cherokee. This pioneer farmstead was a real treat to explore and we would highly recommend it to anyone who visits the area.
We love to hike and there are some beautiful trails in the the area, but the weather was just too hot. So, when we weren't out searching for air conditioned sites to explore, we stayed at the cabin and relished the quiet and peaceful surroundings. I especially enjoyed watching the squirrels each morning as they scurried up and down the bird feeder and across the railings on the deck.
This cabin was perfect and we would recommend it to any of our friends. We look forward to returning and hope that the weather will be nice enough for us to hike and explore more of the area around the cabin.
