This home away from home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a custom kitchen with a Jenn Air range, large windows, a dining area that will accommodate 10 and an open floor plan. Great room boasts lots of bright windows, an inviting couch that makes you curl up and feel good inside and a flat screen TV that allows you to stay connected to the world (if you choose to). This home is located in the Ponderosa neighborhood. There is a neighborhood playground, walking trails and sledding hills, just a short walk away. Downtown Leavenworth is 13 miles away. ***WINTER SPECIAL*** Cascade Mountain Snowmobile Weekend: For an additional charge (see rates) includes 2 Arctic Cat snowmobiles in your winter weekend visit. Snowmobile right from your front door to over 100 miles of trails. Enjoy stunning views and amazing back country riding in the best snowmobiling area in the Northwest. We had two families staying in this wonderful home and had the best vacation ever! Everything was set up perfectly, the home is very well stocked. The woods are beautiful, the home is lovely, and Leavenworth is great fun. We even went tubing on the Icicle River and had a wonderful time. We are already planning our next trip!

We spent 4days at this fabulous lode. Everything was well organized, comfortable and welcoming...bravo! My family & friends have been raving about our magical time in the winter wonderland.

The whole experience was hassle free and the Black Forest Lodge is exactly as described - no surprises - no worries. Perfect, thank you!

Everything was wonderful. We had a great time, and found everything we needed. At one point, one of us said, "The owners must have read a book about outfitting a rental house, because this place has it all." It was really comfortable and cozy, without being cluttered. The movies were fun. Our family had the bunk bed room which was amazing for our 3-year old. He slept on the bottom bunk, with dad above him. And all of us commented on the flannel sheets and comfortable bedding. Soft, soft.

Comment Text: Everything was fantastic. Downstairs was extremely comfortable and cozy for relaxing and taking in a movie. The bedrooms were great , too. We had perfect weather and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
