About Grand Turk: Grand Turk is a small “Old World” Caribbean island. The island has maintained the charm of the colonial days due to the many antique colonial Bermudian buildings that line the walled streets. You’ll feel as though you stepped back in time as you venture out for an evening stroll. There are beautiful views from nearly every place you visit on the island. Many of the restaurants are seated on the edge of the beach, a romantic setting for a leisurely meal. The local people are friendly and welcoming. The Turks and Caicos are considered some of the safest in the Caribbean, they are British governed islands but the currency is the U.S. Dollar.

We totally enjoyed a little piece of paradise. The apartment was great. Clean and had everything we needed including breakfast for the next morning. Very nice. Apartment was clean and comfy. Towels were even nice. The dogs were great. We felt very safe. Barking at strangers early in the morning, not so good. But they were otherwise well behaved. We saw the black dog at Sand Bar one night. She laid by us while we ate and then followed us to the car. When I opened the door she got in and took a ride back to the apartment. Too funny. Enjoyed having a car to use even though the islands is small. Water was unbelievably beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. Bike riding was fun. Arelys the manager, was so nice and helpful. Use bug spray on legs if you are susceptible. Thank you for helping to make our vacation so memorable and relaxing. It was all good.
We are a family owned vacation rental.
We have been traveling to Grand Turk for over 20 years now and still love it. There have been some changes but not too many. Our first visit to Grand Turk was with a couple of friends and our oldest daughter, she was not yet 2 at the time. We found an article about Grand Turk in the Boston Globe and decided to go.
We fell in love with island and the people. It's the kind of place where you feel like you fell off the side of the earth. Grand Turk has a nice easy pace of it's own which lets you unwind and really relax.
We find it so easy to travel to the Turks and Caicos because the currency is the US Dollar and it is only a 1 1/2 hour flight to Florida. The beaches are beautiful, the people are friendly and the scuba diving is superb.
