This super CLEAN, cedar wood sided cabin, with cathedral ceilings & stone fireplace, with hardwood floors throughout,except bathrooms that are tiled, is nestled on over one wooded acre, in the mountains of the Nantahala Region. It is private, yet close & convenient to town .(approx. 8 miles) Comfortably & tastefully furnished for that 'at home' feeling away from home. Amenities: Fireplace, wireless internet , phone, central heat/air, direct tv, DVD, microwave, dishwasher, full kitchen, (dishes, utensils, crockpot, cookware, etc.), barbecue grill, full size washer & dryer. Linens are provided for the comfortable, new, queen size bed and new, double bed. Rock away the hours on this covered, 26' porch with seasonal view. Circular drive for easy turn around access. Enjoy a peaceful walk thru the quaint town of Murphy, with its shops, street corner parks, diners & restaurants, old time theater & flea markets. Trout & fly fishing is right around the corner as well as the John Campbell Folk School with it's crafts. Pack a lunch & rent a boat on Lake Nottley which is only 10 min. away. If you want more excitement, take a white water ride down the Natahala river which is only approx. 45 min. away. Also within approx. 1 hrs. drive, is the Great Smoky Mtn. Railway in Bryson City, & visit Cherokee, NC with it's Indian theme, & see 'Unto These Hills' - an outdoor play. Also you can visit Santa's family park & zoo or Harrah's Casino with over 2000 games , 3 restaurants, 24 hrs. a day. A drive to Biltmore Mansion won't disappoint you either. In winter months, skiing is only 1 hr. away in Maggie Valley or snow tubing at Seeley Mtn. Murphy is a great place to spend your vacation, anytime of year!

  • Refundable booking/security deposit of $125 is due at time of reservation. Deposit refunded after departure and cleaning service inspection. Rent of $450 is due no later than two weeks prior to arrival date. Cabin key code will be mailed upon receipt. 3 night minimum stay at $90 per night. Check in is 3:00pm. Check out by 10:30 am. Cleaning fees included. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 TO RENT THIS PROPERTY.10% DISCOUNT TO REPEAT CUSTOMERS ! This discount is only for weekly rentals, not for weekends or monthly rentals.
    Until confirmed, rates are subject to change. Monthly rentals are entitled to a free cleaning (floors and bathrooms) halfway thru your stay, if you choose.
  • I accept checks (must clear before your arrival date) or money orders. Paypal also accepted with prior approval from owner. Extra fees will be charged for Paypal use. Payments should be sent to owner.
