|Minimum Stay||4 - 5 nights|
Beyond-your-imagination romantic views of Caribbean seas in four shades of blue, dotted with tiny green islands and cays, ribboned by crushed shell beaches. Relax on your private, shaded deck, your favorite beverage in hand, reading or checking your email. Parasails and sailboats decorate the blue day sky oft festooned by rainbows. At dusk experience mysterious pinks and purples. At night our golden supermoon rises over the British Island of Tortola to cast silvery tracks across the sea as you sit beneath a carpet of stars waiting to wish upon your own shooting star.
Your private residence is a window on one of the prettiest views in the Caribbean. The setting for your private rental is a 15 acre eco resort with 3 secluded pools, a restaurant right on the sea and our new Wellness Spa a short walk away.
A perfect location for honeymoons and anniversaries.
Sip a drink on your love seat and watch the amazing moonrise.
On a clear night, curl up on the love seat to watch shooting stars.
A stroll along Pineapple Beach brings you to Coki Beach, offering the best snorkeling and diving on the island and a lively local atmosphere. You can buy locally cooked food here, rent chairs and snorkel equipment and there is on the beach cocktail service. Adjacent to Coral World where you can try Sea Trekkin or your children can meet a friendly sea lion. Here you will also find the least expensive dive shop.
Turn left out of the resort and you will be at Lindquist Beach, the most beautiful unspoiled beach on the island. After A little further and you are in Red Hook where you will not only find shopping, restaurants and night life, but also the only hourly ferry to St. John and the National Park as well as ferries to the British Virgin Islands. You are on the dollar bus route which is useful to get to Red Hook and up to the mall if you don't have a car.
This owner lives on site to provide assistance when you need it.
We can arrange to meet you at the airport and take you grocery shopping.
The owner has worked at many of the island's hotels, including the Ritz Carlton and has good locals connections to help you do what you want to do.
Our goal is to maximize your down time and never let you miss something that would be special to you.
i have lived on the island for 20 years. I started out living in Bluebeard's Castle, yes, the actual castle famous for the pirate. I worked at the timeshare and have since worked in hospitality in St. John, at Sapphire Beach Resort and The Ritz Carlton. I have also worked at 5 star resorts in California and Europe where I learned about what people want and how to anticipate the needs of my guests. I have visited all of the surrounding islands and want to show you all the special romantic spots that I have discovered during my many years on the island.
I care about you and want you to have the most incredible experience that it is possible to have using my local knowledge as a resource.
I specialize in offering a very personal service, tailored to fit YOU. I am one of very few owners who actually live at the resort. We provide airport pick up and grocery shopping services. We specialize in honeymoons and can provide fresh flowers and champagne; couples massages on the covered balcony with its' top of the world view. Just tell us what you want.
It's not about me. It's all about YOU.
Chris purchased this condo in 1998
It's the VIEW!
I walked in and said 'i'll take it!' and the deal was done. I have lived here ever since and have never seen comparable views of so many tiny islands and the incredible super moon.
Add to that comfortable upgraded furniture; a big dining room table on the deck so 4 people can dine as they watch the world go by under the shade of a covered deck; comfortable new lounge chairs and a romantic love seat to cuddle up and watch the moonrise.
Save money at the beach by taking your own drinks in the cooler. Save money renting chairs at the beach too: they are all provided.
The owner is often resident on the island and available to to help.
Just call or text.
We are happy to be your resource in the Caribbean.
This was a last minute trip to the islands and we were so happy with our choice of this condo. Chris is a wonderful person to deal with. She is very professional and makes you feel like youre an old friend. We will definitely be back again! Clean, comfortable, and affordable are a few words I would use to describe this place. Location is convenient to everything, and on site security is a plus. Thanks for everything Chris!
As all mentioned, Chris is extremely friendly & helpful. She gave us recommendations on outings - all that we enjoyed, were great.
The view when you walk into the condo is breathtaking! We didn't shut the curtains once. Waking up to the sun rising over the Virgin Islands every morning was amazing. Our time in the condo was very relaxing & peaceful.
The condo itself is comfortable and clean. My boyfriend and I were scheduled for a romantic getaway but ended up traveling with my 4 year old daughter (and our nanny - for the back end of the trip) and we had more than enough room/privacy.
There is a great grocery in Red Hook called Moe's Market which allowed us to get all of our grocery's for the week - including wine & beer. Buy liquor at the airport, duty free - it's cheaper. Moe's is like Whole Foods. The people at Moe's were very friendly & pricing was reasonable. We cooked breakfast everyday and dinner more than half the time plus lunch/snacks when were were there. Having the access to Moe's and a kitchen suitable to cooking was great; saved on expensive restaurant tabs.
You need to rent a car if you're staying at this property. There is a pool within 100 yards but the best day spots are Coki Beach or Sapphire Beach, both a short drive. We also used our jeep to go to St John's for a hike and beach time (via Ferry) which was an amazing outing. I was hesitant when Chris told me she recommended a car, but it was a must have. Plan ahead with BUDGET and pricing is about $350/wk - well worth it! I wouldn't recommend staying at this property without one.
1. Rent a car
2. Google maps (via your smartphone) is the BEST (and only) way to drive the island and stay sane (no signs); use Google maps to get from the airport to Point Pleasant Resort where the condo it and everywhere else
3. Grocery shop at Moe's - this will save you a lot of $$$
4. Bars/Restaurants: Molly Malone's, Fishtail and Tap & Still; Hull Bay Hideaway on the Northside is worth the 30 min drive
4. Plan trips to the other islands
5. If you like to Scuba (or interested in learning) go see Pete and his crew at the dive shop at Coki Beach. I worked with Luke to finish my certification and he was amazing and made it so much fun! If you don't scuba, you can snorkel there as well and see so many amazing fish.
6. Give yourself 3 hours at the airport when you're leaving - it's a zoo and the baggage people take tips to let others cut you which adds time.
The resort was lovely and our condo had to have had one of the best views on the island. Nice space with everything you could ask for. The secluded pool, steps from our front door was an extra plus, except "who needs a pool with the most beautiful beaches in the world just minutes away." Christine was very helpful and it was nice to have someone who knows the island so well. We are planning to return in February. Loved it!
I first stayed with Chris in 2009 and have been back two more times (2011 and 2012) and will definitely come back. I even sent my daughter and son-in-law to Chris for their honeymoon (July 2013). I knew she'd take good care of them (as she has me these many times) and she did. They loved their time in St. Thomas and loved their stay on Chris' property. I only wish I could have gone too! The condo is amazing and Chris is knowledgeable and always at your service if she's on island. I hope to see you soon Chris!
We stopped in St. Thomas during a cruise a few years back and knew that we wanted to return to the island for a longer stay. This was our first stay on the island, and we certainly were not disappointed!! Chris made our two week stay a wonderful experience. My wife, son, and I had everything we needed in the condo. Bed and furniture was comfortable, cabinets were well stocked with plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. This condo in Point Pleasant is in one the upper units providing an absolutely spectacular view of St. John and the surrounding area. Chris was a pleasure to work with. She gave us directions to the best restaurants and cheapest grocery shopping locations. Don't miss the food at Latitude 18, and Jack's which is on-site right on the water at Point Pleasant was a great place to grab a burger and enjoy the view. Our son enjoyed the use of the three very nice pools on site. The small private beach is the highlight of the resort. There's hardly anyone ever there, so you have it to yourself. The snorkeling from there was great, too. Chris also helped us with choosing a kayak/snorkeling trip (at a discount!) and directed us to a truly great day cruise to the BVIs (Do not miss see The Baths). We would absolutely love to return!
My fiancé and I stayed at the condo in March. The view is just amazing. It is breathtaking actually. Chris was wonderful to us. She has a lot of good information on where to go in St. Thomas and she was always available to answer any questions. We plan on going back soon because this was one of our favorite vacations we have ever taken. The pictures just don't do it justice. The condo was perfect for us. The view from the deck, living room, and the beautiful bed, was stunning. Waking up in the morning and looking out over all of those beautiful islands was just wonderful. We highly recommend this condo!!
The East End of St. Thomas has the majority of the best beaches and the famous 'down island' views of the BVI. They follow one after the other from Coki Beach, Pineapple Beach and Sugar Beach (all walkable from the resort) to Lindquist Beach (now part of the National Park of St. Thomas) and Sapphire Beach.
Being a little higher than the water has its advantages: privacy, no mosquitoes, spectacular views of the neighboring islands. In the summer there is also a welcome cooling breeze from the Trade Winds.
