My boyfriend and I stayed here recently for about a week and had a great time. It is very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and entertainment. I had to pick someone up at the airport and it literally took me 15 minutes to get there. We fattened up the ducks on the pond and quickly they realized that breakfast was served at 7am and dinner at 9pm. The neighbors are very friendly, and there were always jet skiers and boaters on the lake for entertainment.
Since we couldn't figure out how to use a light switch (duh!), to turn on the lights on the dock/patio there was plenty of firewood to burn fires in the cute fire pit left for guests (sorry for using up so much firewood!).
We didn't cook, but there was plenty of kitchenware and plates, etc. if we had chosen to. Why cook when Schaller's, Abbot's, Pontillo's Pizza, are all less than 5 minutes away? We also LOVE Wegmans Grocery Store (about 5-10 min away), and they prepare some really good take out food like chinese, italian, subs, etc. There is also a park for kids that is less than a 5 minute walk from the house.
We would recommend this house and would stay here again. The owners are easy to get a hold of and will go out of their way to accommodate. The house is very clean and really captures the essence of a small lake/beach community, only a lot more to offer.
