Get away from it all and enjoy the northern woods and a large pristine lake in this off the grid, very private, architect-designed, spacious contemporary home. From each room you can enjoy the surroundings through glass sliding doors which open into the woods. The Great Room has a large stone fireplace and an open dining area. Take a short walk down a path to the water for swimming and boating on beautiful, clean Upper Chateaugay Lake. All power is by generator, with propane refrigerator, stove, and hot water.

Located in the Northern Adirondacks, 70 miles from Montreal, one hour from Lake Placid and the high peaks area, Upper Chateaugay Lake offers a true getaway from it all. This house is situated in the woods with a short walk down a wooded path to the waterfront where there is a dock and a swimming raft. The Lake is excellent for swimming and boating. There is an alternate swimming area with a gradual sandy entrance to the water for young children.
