The Matzinger Cottage is located on the east side of Lower Herring Lake with its own beachfront and dock.This cottage has a complete, clean, modern kitchen with dishwasher. There are two bathrooms, two bedrooms, clothes washer and dryer, sitting area with fireplace, eating area with a lake view, a front sitting area with lake view and a deck with table and chairs. There is also a large table for eating, games or other activities. This quiet, end of road cottage, has a beautiful fireplace along with modern conveniences and comfort including satellite tv. Frankfort, close by, in Betsie County offers a range of activities, such as biking on a paved trail, grocery, bakery, bookstore local stores and places to dine out. The Interlochen Center for the Arts, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Cherry Republic (Leelanau Peninsula) and Traverse City with wineries and much more are all within a day's drive.
