If you are like me, and spend countless hours searching for the perfect place to spend your vacation, let me do you a favor and save you the time and energy by suggesting you book this property. My family has just returned from a week on Grassy Key, and had just a wonderful experience. The views from the kitchen, upstairs screened porch, and pool area below are so relaxing. We enjoyed fishing off the dock daily, and the sunsets were spectacular and not to be missed each evening. My kids had never kayaked before, and we enjoyed it so much that we are going to purchase a couple ourselves.
We had some trouble with the wifi, and after contacting the caretakers-a computer tech came out and fixed the problem same day.
Nearby charter fishing on the Marathon Lady was fun and provided lunch for the next day. We spent an afternoon/evening in Key West, which was about 1hr 15min away, and a beautiful drive all the way.
One word of advice: get in your snorkeling/boating trips as soon as you can. The weather was windy the last few days, and the local snorkeling tours were cancelled because of it. But, that just gives us a reason to get back to the area as soon as we can!
You will not be disappointed with this property!
