Poinciana House at Diamonds by the Sea is where Keira Knightley chose to stay in Freeport, Grand Bahama when filming Pirates of the Caribbean. We are located directly on one of the most beautiful, white, sandy beaches, have all the privacy you wish and yet are about 5 miles from Port Lucaya with its restaurants, bars, shopping, music, and the Casino. Swim, fish, snorkel, walk and enjoy a fantastic margarita at the beach bars and restaurants walking distance from us. And relax in your own private dip in Tub off the deck overlooking the beach and water. And just maybe you will see the Dolphins swimming along our shore. Just staying at the Poinciana at Diamonds is a total vacation; come and see for yourself, you won't want to leave.

Honeymoon in the bahamas!!

My husband and UI stayed at Gladys beautiful house for 11 nights over xmas and new years of 08/09. We had such a relaxing time there. The beach is very private and beautiful and the house was awesome. It had everything we needed. We cooked most nights to save money, although there were very nice places on the beach that we could have visited. We expected the jacuzzi to be working for us when we arrived, but we found out somewhat after that fact that it did not work...no biggy. We really enjoyed going to the Grand Bahamas, but felt like there wasn't really enough to do other than just lounge around, which don't get me wrong we loved doing, but other than Port Lucaya it almost felt like kinda a ghost town. We thought there would be more to do, and by that I mean even experiencing the culture. There was a lot of fast food joints and mostly americanized things, not so much Bahamian so to speak. So if you like to have the choice of a little more action, I would not recommend this island. Her house was beautiful...I felt like a queen and we cannot complain at all about the service she provided!! Thanks again so much Gladys...and best of luck!!

Our Dream Vacation!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful home in the beginning of May. It was the most relaxing, exciting, and enjoyable vacation either one of us have experienced. The house was gorgeous with complete privacy. It was very clean and stocked with anything you might use in your own home. There are so many things to do on the island, but one of our favorite things to do was sit on the deck with a cold drink and watch the waves roll in on the peaceful, secluded beach. The sand was the softest and cleanest sand we have ever squished between our toes. We also found that the best snorkleing we did was just off this beach. Gladys kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything, which we really appreciated. During our stay, we enjoyed swimming with Dolphins, Parasailing, Kayaking, Shopping, Snorkeling, etc. I would definately recommend this to our friends, family, or anyone looking for their "Dream Vacation"!!!
