Romantic Alpine Chalet on Lake Coeur d' Alene:
The chalet is quiet and cozy. Sit on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the boats float on the water. Walk down the hill and stroll along the Centennial Trail. You'll find many other people doing the same. Go into town and sit at an outside cafe and watch the people go by. Shop in the many shops and gallerias that are in town . The Coeur d' Alene Resort is in the center of everything and worth checking out. When you get back to your Chalet you'll find restful quiet.
Summer on the Water:
Lake Coeur d' Alene is one of the larges lakes in Idaho and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. Whether you spend your time relaxing and enjoying it's beauty from the shore, or spend your time exploring all its features from the water, you will be enchanted by its beauty. You can spend time on our dock swimming or you can, sail, jet ski, or motor boat around the lake. The lake is also popular with people who like to fish for salmon and bass. A variety of water craft are available for rent. Photo opportunities are everywhere. Find a quiet cove and swim. Watch osprey and eagles fly by. You won't be bored.
Around Town:
Coeur d' Alene sponsors many events during the summer. Art on the Green is a large art and craft show spread out over three venues. Car d' Lane is for the hot rod lovers. The Iron Man Triathlon draws thousands of athletes and spectators. The Fourth of July draws thousands of people to the lake shore to watch the fireworks. The Wooden Boat Show also has a great following. The golf course run by the Coeur d' Alene Resort with it's floating green is famous, but there are many other wonderful courses in our area worth trying. Check out the fine local wines at the Coeur d' Alene winery by stopping at their tasting room in the center of town. There are many fine gallerias, shops, and restaurants you will not want to miss.
