This picturesque chalet boasts one of the most spectacular views of Lake Coeur d' Alene. Though only minutes from town, our location is very quiet and secluded. We have a private dock for swimming and boating or to work on your tan. We are a short walk from the Centennial Trail. Shopping and fine dining are only minutes away. There are two restaurants within walking distance. The world renowned Coeur d' Alene golf course with it's floating green is only one mile from us. The Iron Man Triathlon is held on the road right below our Chalet. The lake has a fleet of cruise boats that will take you around the lake. There is also a variety of water craft rentals and boat moorage is available. Pet friendly.

Romantic Alpine Chalet on Lake Coeur d' Alene: The chalet is quiet and cozy. Sit on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the boats float on the water. Swim from your private dock. Walk down the hill and stroll along the Centennial Trail. You'll find many other people doing the same. Go into town and sit at an outside cafe and watch the people go by. Shop in the many shops and gallerias that are in town . The Coeur d' Alene Resort is in the center of everything and worth checking out. When you get back to your Chalet you'll find restful quiet.

Summer on the Water: Lake Coeur d' Alene is one of the larges lakes in Idaho and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. Whether you spend your time relaxing and enjoying its beauty from shore, or spend your time exploring all its features from the water, you will be enchanted by its beauty. You can spend time on our private dock swimming,or you can sail, jet ski, or motor boat around the lake. The lake is also popular with people who like to fish for salmon and bass. A variety of water craft are available for rent. Photo opportunities are everywhere. Find a quiet cove and swim. Watch osprey and eagles fly by. You won't be bored.

Around Town: Coeur d' Alene sponsors many events during the summer. Art on the Green is a large art and craft show spread out over three venues. Car d' Lane in June is for the hot rod lovers. The Iron Man Triathlon draws thousands of athletes and spectators. The Fourth of July draws thousands of people to the lake shore to watch the fireworks. The Wooden Boat Show also has a great following. The golf course run by the Coeur d' Alene Resort with it's floating green is famous, but there are many other wonderful courses in our area worth trying. Check out the fine local wines at the Coeur d' Alene winery by stopping at their tasting room in the center of town. There are many fine gallerias, shops, and restaurants you will not want to miss.

Lake Coeur d' Alene is 35 miles long and has 100 miles of shore line. The city of Coeur d' Alene sits on the northern end of the lake. The Chalet sits on a bluff overlooking the lake with only a short walk to the water. Town is 2 miles away. The beach and many different water activities are accessible from the south end of town next to the renowned Coeur d' Alene Resort. The city hosts many summer activities including Iron Man, Car d' Lane,Wooden Boat Show, Salmon Derby, Art Fest, Parasailing, Live Theater, hiking, bicycling, roller blading, and famous golf courses. Coeur d' Alene was recently featured on the Good Morning America show featuring our amazing Christmas Lighting and Fireworks. Our 4th of July is equally as spectacular.

Amazing views - A little piece of heaven!

We came the week after memorial day in 2012 and this home was so CLEAN and even nicer in person than it looked in the pictures! The view was beyond fantastic and it felt like we were looking at a little piece of heaven! To wake up every morning with that view was such a blessing. I came with my Mom and my two little boys and we took a day to go to Silverwood and a local park to wear ourselves out. Then we relaxed and read books enjoying that view! It was close enough to town to run and grab some takeout when we didn't feel like cooking. It even had a place to do laundry which was a huge plus with my two little guys - toddlers tend to get more food on their clothes than their mouths theheheh. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great Family Trip

So glad we choose this rental! It was even better than the pictures!SO CLEAN, which is always important to me. We enjoyed the deck with it's amazing view. The house had everything we needed.The beds and bedding were very comfy. It is secluded and quiet,yet close to the action of town.The new dock for the boat we rented was so nice, and just a short walk down the hill from the house. The owners are right next door, and very helpful if you need them! Thank you so much for the great Labor Day weekend! Hope to return again next summer!!

We stayed here with a friend that came in for Ironman week. It was as advertised- lovely views and and lovely house. Dont hesitate to rent this lovelt chalet !

This property worked out wonderfully for my family. It was described perfectly and as clean as pictured. It was close enough to town, but secluded enough to be private and quiet. My elderly parents, especially my father who has challenging health issues, was able to watch the lake activity from the deck. The owner was as delightful as the email messages led me to believe. This was a good one! Thanks again, Martha!!
