Port Charlotte is located halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers on Florida's Natural Gulf Coast. Situated in a very peaceful setting; it is close to virtually everything and is easily accessible by car or boat! This home is has everything you may possibly need to be your home away from home! All you need to bring is your personal belongings! This wonderful home from which to explore Florida's Gulf Coast offers an opportunity to vacation with your boat in a lovely peaceful location to sit back, relax and enjoy. The home is beautifully furnished in Floridian/Mexican decor complete with Saltillo tile floors and overlooks the large lanai and dock area, with the Auburn Waterway as the backdrop. The entire outdoor living area is screened.This vacation home has it all, and at a price that is very attractive.

Great Place to Spend the Winter!

We stayed for three months -- Jan - Mar, 2009. The home is on the small side, but very comfortable, clean, well-equipped, nicely furnished, and convenient to everything. It sits on a canal -- the lanai facing west for great sunsets. Shopping is all within 1-2 miles. There are many recreational activities in the vicinity and it is within a half hour drive to beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors pleasant. We were happy that our dog was allowed (no fenced yard, but plenty of walking area around undeveloped land). For women who belong the CURVES, there is a great facility 1 mile away and they were very happy to have "snowbirds". The owner is very responsive to emails and phone messages and very pleasant to work with. We loved the area of Port Charlotte so much that we bought our own place!! Otherwise, we would certainly rent here again next year.
