Escape to this romantic getaway or fun family home. Upper level is the main living area with a large 'open floor plan' witht he living room, dining room and kitchen. Master bedroom (king size bed) and bath with it's own screened in breakfast nook. Large flat screen TV with DVD. The two guest bedrooms each have a queen size bed and are on the opposite side of the home and each have their own TV. they share a bath. Large wrap around deck partially screened. Downstairs features a large GREAT ROOM with a pool table, poker table and large screen TV. There is also a siiting room, refrigerator and a bathroom on this level with 2 pull out couches. The downstairs is considered the 4th bedroom. This level is serviced by fans only with no air conditioning. It is really good only for children. Off the game room downstairs is a screened area with a ping pong table and views down the canal. Nearest Airport: Key West at 50 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 4.0 Miles
Dolphin research center is close by. They are dedicated to the training, studying and protection of the Dolphins. You can reserve a spot to swim with the Dolphins. If you turn left at the K-Mart on Sombrero Beach Road you'll find the nicest beach in the Middle Keys. Pigeon Key, a tiny 5 acre island just below the 7 mile bridge was once the home to the workers that built Henry Flagler's Railroad which connected the Keys. Enjoy a walk out on the old seven mile bridge to get to the island. Be sure to visit Crane Point Hammock and Nature Center. There is a museum and a children's museum as well. One of the trails will take you to the Marathon Wild Bird Center which is a hospital for the many species of birds we have here. Also, visit the Turtle Hospital Educational Tour. It is a 45 minute educational guided tour.
