Additional information about rental rates

  • Daily cleaning is available for an additional charge
  • The weekly rate is for 7 consecutive nights.

    Rates are for 4 adults. Additional adults (17 years & older) up to a maximum of 2 are $25 per person per night. Children (16 years and younger) 2 max. - no additional fee.

    At check-in, you will be met by a local representative and given the keys. Features of the condo will be provided and any questions you may have will be answered.

    A CASH Damage Deposit ($200.00 USD or equivalent) will be required upon check-in. A local representative will also check you out at the end of your stay. The deposit, less any monies for damages or lost items will be returned to you at check-out (or within 30 days if you you do not complete a final check out with the local representative).

    A complimentary mid-week cleaning is available. You can arrange for additional cleaning through the local representative.

    A local representative is available to address any problems or emergency situations.

    A 12% local tax will be added to all rates.
  • Payment methods include bank drafts, wire transfers,personal checks (some conditions apply) or all major credit cards through PayPal (3.5% processing fee)

    A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is required 30 days prior to arrival. The total amount is due upon booking if booked less than 30 days before arrival.

    Cancellations - 100% refund less $50.00 USD handling fee if canceled 60 days before arrival. 50% refund if canceled before 30 days of arrival. No refund if canceled less than 30 days. All non-refunded monies can be applied to a new rental within 1 year from the cancelled rental date

    A local cell phone is available for your use. Local Cell Phone charges are 1 peso per minute. Long distance charges vary according to the location. Your calls and expenditures can be tracked on the phone. Calls to the cell phone are usually free (some exceptions apply)

  • Both bathrooms have granite topped vanities, tile floors, and glass tiled showers. Each condo has individual electric water heaters so there is plenty of hot water available. Good quality towels are provided. The condo management company takes great effort and pride in assuring the the bathrooms are spotlessly clean and well supplied with all the necessities. Thick, soft beach towels are also available for use at the pool or the beach. There is a modern Bosch washer and dryer provided in the condo for any immediate laundry needs.

  • IMAGINE sleeping in a romantic, teak canopy bed - on a pillow top mattress, in quality cotton bedding. The Master bedroom has a King size teak canopy bed and an adjacent en suite full bathroom with shower and a spacious walk-in closet. There is also a small deck off the master bedroom opening onto the central courtyard & pool area. The second bedroom has a Queen size teak canopy bed and large closet. It opens on to the large front balcony. The main full bathroom is right next to the 2nd bedroom. Both bedrooms have individual remote controlled air conditioning units for your comfort and lined drapes to keep out the bright Mexican morning sun for those who want to sleep late. Interesting Mexican art adorn the walls. Each bedroom is also equipped with a ceiling fan if air conditioning is not needed. A self-inflating double mattress with real bed linens is available. This would be most appropriate for smaller children. The chaise couch could also double as a bed.

Perfect Playa... I wish I was back there now.

We stayed a whole month here and our only complaint is we didn't have another month. Ideally located a block or two from authentic Mexico and a few blocks to the tourist strip, this is a great place for people who want a family holiday with plenty to do in the area. The beach is a short stroll away, passing great coffee along the way making a great start to the day.

The unit itself was super clean, beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, oven, etc and a great blender for Margaritas. The grounds have lovely gardens and a beautiful pool with day lounge for sun and relaxing.

The owner and agent company provided great service answering any questions we had over the month promptly and helpfully. There is also a great folder in the welcome pack written by the owner that includes restaurant/ activity suggestions that are spot on. There is heaps to do in the area, particularly if you are into your water/ outdoor sports, and cultural activities.

I would def recommend this to my friends and family.

Restaurants in the area are great, the best is actually directly next door. Aguachilles is the name I think, best ceviche I have had ever, and cheap. We did Xel-ha, Chichen-itza, Isla Hol-box, Tulum and a few others, which was awesome but I am pretty sure most stuff around here is great.

We had a great time in Mexico, a big part of which was due to our stay at 207.

We had a great visit to Playa del Carmen. This was our 2nd trip to Playa and staying at Aqua Terra 207 made it even better. The owner was very accomodating for our visit. We were traveling with our 1 year old son. The pool has a shallow end that was perfect for him to splash in. The condo is just a short stroll to 5th avenue and an easy walk to the beach. At 5th Ave. is the Coffee Cafe with complimentary internet access for customers to stay connected to the world.
We'll be back.

Everything that was promised by the owner was fulfilled with extras. It had everything we and our children needed and we were very happy and comfortable. Though the property is not on the beach (it is a short walk) we found this location had many more advantages. It is located between the old and new Playa and this made for a wounderful experience. The owner also had very helpful advice for us. This allowed us to plan and enjoy our first time in Playa even better.
