Waikiki Vacation Rental condo

The condo was exactly as pictured, very nice appliances, quality furnishings and a gorgeous view of the marina. The condo included free parking which is great and you're also on the bus line which is convenient for those without a car. There is an ABC store across the street and a small market a street over for all of your needs. There are numerous restaurants including Red Lobster & the Charthouse directly below the condo.

One should note that the condo is not on the beach; it's a short walk to a nice beach, but it's rocky in the water. Further down is the famous Waikiki beach--very nice, but crowded.

A few things would have made the stay perfect: soap for the shower and a small amount of laundry detergent available. Also, when the air conditioner is turned on, there is a musty smell that seems to decrease as you let it run, but the system is obviously old. For those who are leaving/flying later on in the day of check-out, there is NO place to store luggage! The Ilikai hotel will NOT store your bags because they said the Marina is separate. We begged security to keep our 2 douffle bags and they did, but they were not happy to do so--their office is very small.

Overall, the condo was great; it was very spacious and we'd be happy to stay again.

My husband and I were extremly happy with our stay. The kitchen and bathroom and both been newly renovated. The condo was very clean and had everything that we needed. The view was fantastic! The owners Tom and Lucinda were great to work with. They are very honest and I would recommend renting from them. The unit includes parking, but the location is very walkable being close to Waikiki and also the Ala Moana bus depot.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful Hawaiian holiday. This condo was beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better ocean view. We had no problems with the elevators or the air conditioning. The parking is included and very convenient. Everything is provided from towels to beach gear. The Ilikai Marina building is a little older but the condo inside has been newly renovated.
Also there is no pool accesses, but this was not a problem for us because the beach and lagoon area is within close walking distance.

Our only disappointment is that when we originally booked I thought this was a one bedroom condo with a separate bedroom. Rather it's more of a large studio with a divider screen for the bedroom area. The divider does not block much noise from the rest of the space. It worked out o.k. though the bathroom was so large that we were able to put our one year old to bed by the washer and dryer area and close the door.
