2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, sleeps 4-5

Located in the heart of the Green Mountains on ten acres. Mountain views and remote feel, but only 20 minutes from Warren/Waitsfield area. Ski or snowshoe out the back door or cozy up and watch movies on home theater with over 100 movies. Brand new, with all the modern amenities, but done in classic cabin style. Enjoy walking/sledding on site or hiking the nearby Long Trail, then a relaxing hot tub under the stars. 15 mins to Middlebury Snow Bowl, 25 mins to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen or 45 to Killington. Great swimming, kayaking, etc. Perfect any season!

Size limitations: The cabin is 850 sq ft. so not designed for large groups. It is one large space downstairs and two separate bedrooms above. It has a much larger feel than it's size indicates however, due to a two story loft above. There is also a generously sized mud room/entry with a heated floor to dry out ski boots and stow gear. It is therefore best suited for couples or small families who are looking for a well designed and appointed quality cabin. Anyone looking for a traditional Vermont experience will certainly enjoy the areas offerings and the warmth and intimacy provided in the cabin.

4wd Car recommendation: It is recommended that you have a 4wd car or truck in the winter.

Located in central Vermont, 1/2 mile off Rt. 100, alongside the Green Mountains. Just 1/2 hour off the interstate and convenient to skiing, hiking, kayaking, relaxing and many other outdoor activities. Enjoy great nearby skiing or stay on the property and have a great weekend tubing, tubbing and/or snowshoeing through the woods and open fields. In the summer, there is the Farmers Market in Waitsfield, great swimming holes as well as the peace and serenity that comes with being located in the pristine, undeveloped White River Valley.

Other Activities: x-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding right on the property.

Golf: Sugarbush has a beautiful 18 hole course, while White River Golf Club offers 9 holes at a tremendous value only 15 minutes away.

Ski: Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, two of Vermonts best areas are only 25 minutes away, and Middlebury Snow Bowl, Vermonts best value, is only 15 minutes away.

Notes: 92'' front screen projection TV that turns the living room into a home movie theater. Over 200 VHS and DVD's as well as 5 local TV stations via antennae carrying the major networks. Recommend four wheel drive vehicle in winter for local roads and driveway. We now have wireless broadband internet service at the cabin, but you'll need your own computer. There is currently AT&T cell phone service in Granville, but Verizon can be gotten 10 minutes away. Living room has a gas stove which resembles a wood stove, but is much safer and cleaner to operate.

Loved the cabin..kids loved the movie screen and hot tub ! Location was convenient as it was between middlbury snow bowl and sugabush/mad river glen! Totally loved middlbury snow bowl since my kids where just learning to ski!, we felt very comfortable and not overwhelmed with people there. Jeff was very quick to answer any questions and very easy to deal with. Only thing is restaurants are a bit of a hike to get to after a long day of skiing..

We went here for just a few days to get away. It was great. Every important detail attended to. The kitchen was well stocked. The "TV" was great. The hot tub easy. We found it perfectly tucked away but still managed to get out for a great dinner at The Common Man. We will be back for sure!

Great family spot!

My husband I took our two teenage girls and our dog for a five night stay to be close to skiing. The house was really perfect for us. It was big enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other and we all made use of the hot tub and the surrounding trails. I don't think our dog has recovered yet! The house was very clean and comfortable. A complete bonus for me was that the plow guy arrived one afternoon to plow us out and suggested I park on the lower part of the driveway so that he could come by and plow us out early in the morning without waking my family. It was very thoughtful of him as I am not comfortable with driving in the snow. Another key thing for us was that there were ample towels: enough for the hot tub and enough for our family. We also really loved the heated boot room, once we got the hang of it. My girls watched three movies and are gunning to get their own theater now! It was a great stay and Jeff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating!

I would definitely recommend renting this cabin to anyone. The view was amazing. The cabin was so cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly ask for. My kids got a kick out of the big screen tv. It's huge and has a great picture. All the information that Jeff has in that binder about all the local restaurants, bars, etc was extremely helpful. The hot tub felt great after a long day of falling down on the slopes. We are already planning a return trip. Thanks Jeff! Your cabin is a absolute gem.
