The Beach House is located on St. Georges Cay in the community called Spanish Wells. A quiet fishing community in the Bahamas. The house offer a secluded sandy beach location close to town. Central air conditioning, big kitchen with granite tops, laundry room and large decks all make this an ideal place to enjoy beach front living in the Bahamas. Spanish Wells is a very successful Lobster Fishing community located off the northern tip of the big island of North Eleuthera, Bahamas. It is a quiet place with no bars and three churches. Harbour Island is local favorite place for a day trip and North Eleuthera offers exploring and is about 110 miles long. Snorkeling, water sports, beach going, sailing, biking and relaxing are all fun things to do. The people are friendly and Spanish Wells is a very safe place to enjoy your getaway.

I want to start by saying Mark is wonderful to deal with and he keeps SailBeach immaculate and with every amenity one could think of. We vacationed during August 2011 and ended up evacuating half way through our trip due to Hurricane Irene. Mark was very accommodating and stayed in touch with us through all of our trip and decision making to leave the island. My husband thoroughly enjoyed riding the provided bikes to Bernie's house everyday to buy fresh grouper, snapper and lobster. There was really no need for a golf cart because the bikes did the job and everything was so close to the house. No need to worry about grocery shopping with the bike....the store delivered our groceries free of charge. We bought fresh baked bread, cakes and pies from the local baker every day which were to die for!!! We snorkeled right in front of the house on the Devil's Backbone Reef which was approximately 300yds straight out from the house....the water was clear and never over our heads. We kayaked everyday in the two provided boats which was wonderful....our 11 year old daughter was able to master kayaking because the water was so calm and shallow. Our favorite spot in the house was the upstairs bedroom balcony....the view is something I can still not get our of my head....it's AMAZING!!! Lying in bed we could watch cruise ships passing in the night and for the first time in my life I haven't minded being woken by sunlight because the view from the bed was breath taking. Our daughter loved shelling and swimming in the calm warm water and we never saw a sole on the beach during our entire stay. Our only visitors on the beach were a few dolphins and a friendly stingray that my husband swam with. The locals were extremely nice and we made many friends that we still stay in touch with today. SailBeach is now one of our yearly family vacations....we cannot wait to return. Thanks Mark for sharing your beautiful secret with us!!!

Beautiful home in paradise....

Had a wonderful time in this house, loved the island, the view was amazing and hospitality was great! Spent a week here back in May 2010. House was clean and couldn't ask for a more perfect location. It was wonderful to step out of the busy, hectic everyday life and vacation in a place like Spanish Wells. Life is so simple there and very laid back. Would highly reccomend!!!

A true getaway!

We were a group of 10 - 4 adults and 6 cousins ages 4-10. The house was even roomier than we expected and well appointed. We enjoyed biking, kayaking, shell collecting and exploring the island and Russell Island on the golf carts. The beach is pristine and very safe for non-swimmers. The locals made us feel welcome and we hated to leave after 2 weeks!

Amazing Home and Beach!!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax the "Sail Beach" house is a perfect fit. The house has all of the modern day conveniences, and we could not ask for anything more. The beach and water were some of the nicest I have ever seen which is great for snorkleing, fishing, and kayaking. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a quiet get away.

We will be back for sure.

Good Value, Great Home, Perfect Location

My family and I stayed at the house in mid June, 2009. It was myself, my wife, a two and a half year old and six month year old.

We found the house clean, comfortable and well appointed. It seemed that everything was thought of from entertainment needs - TV with cable in every room; to cooking - with all the kitchen appliances of any modern home; to fun - with two bicycles and two kayaks.

The house has beautiful wordwork throughout and great A.C.

The beach in front is beautifull and really does look as good if not better in real life as it does on the pictures posted on the rental's website.

The House exceeded our expectations and was surprisingly affordable.

Spanish Wells is a great place to go to unwind and relax with a family.
