I LOVE to build things!! When I first purchased this property, it was a lonely ugly duckling waiting for that right person to come in and give it some TLC. Seven years later, this little ugly duckling has gone from nada to Prada (so to speak)! Every part of this home, from the paint on the walls to the wood on the deck to the tiling of the bar has a little bit of my sweat, blood (darn cactus!) and tears! It has been a project that has brought me profound happiness and piece and I am honored to share it with you!
My mother was born and raised in Isabela and my dream was to one day buy her a beautiful home. Unfortunately, I lost my mother to cancer when I was 23 unable to fulfill that dream. Although I never lived or ever visited Isabela, I knew that it was a very special place for her. When I was finally ready to purchase a home, I decided that I would pay tribute to her by purchasing a home in her birthplace of Isabela, Puerto Rico! CasaBela is an homage to my mother.
