House, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2.25 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

Welcome to our Sun Valley home! The house features a reverse floor plan to maximize high ceilings, exposed beams and beautiful mountain views upstairs in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The lower level houses three bedrooms, rec room, bonus room, laundry, and heated garage. The house wraps around an outdoor patio which hosts a five man hot tub and a spectacular outdoor fireplace.

Our house is ideally located in a nice neighborhood near the Wood River, and at the base of Baldy between River Run and Warm Springs. The free shuttle service is a 200 yard walk and downtown Ketchum is a half mile away. Nearby there is a public trail leading through an aspen grove to the Wood River. Guy Cole Skateboard Park, paved walking and bike paths, and the Wood River YMCA are all within a 5 minute walk.

The house was designed by local architect Mark Pynn and built by Rick Walsworth, and won the 2012 Idaho AIA award for 'best use of wood'.

Rob and Laura enjoying a few moments of freedom from our three children! We reside in Seattle, Washington and look for every opportunity to come to our second home in Ketchum, Idaho.

Sun Valley is like no place in the world. Breathtaking mountains, premier skiing, dry climate (nice escape from Seattle), arts, and wonderful community!

What makes this house unique

Nice quiet area and friendly neighbors. Great location, near town and the YMCA, and the free community bus line. The house is very comfortable with lots of ammenities for kids (bunk room, games, piano keyboard, mini ping pong, etc.).

This was my second trip to this amazing and gorgeous home. Once again, our stay exceeded expectation and worked great for our party of 7 women. This house has a beautiful and well thought out open floor plan that makes it perfect for entertaining. It also includes all conveniences and amenities. We used the hot tub and decks daily, perfect for enjoying sunshine or stargazing. The property is well maintained and very clean. The location couldn't be better - close to town, skiing, and trails. I hope to return again next year.

Gorgeous, very convenient vacation experience

Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The heated floors, hot tub and gorgeous decorating of this house made it an amazing place for a vacation. Would be a fun place to visit in the summer as well. The three decks make it easy to enjoy the sun, whether you want to be in it or not. I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic home for large group

This was the perfect vacation rental for our large group (10). The house is spacious, smartly decorated and designed and close to EVERYTHING. The house, situated in a residential neighborhood, is cozy and clean. During our two week stay, we cooked many meals in the kitchen and ate our dinners either outside on the spacious deck or at the large family style dining table. The kids used the hot tub twice a day and someone came to clean it weekly (yay!) Everything is well maintained and in working condition. Super easy to coordinate with owners and the property manager, who lives next door. There is a lot of attention to detail and care with this rental. We highly recommend it. Hope to return for another two weeks sometime soon.

Great location, close to town, bike paths, parks, river, YMCA, and sking. The home was very much as depicted in the photos -- contemporary architecture blended with natural materials -- hardwood & stone. Cozy on cold nights, bright and sunny with many big windows. The master suite is great as is the living room. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect SV Stay

We love coming to Sun Valley, but this house makes the trip that much better. The house is fun to be in, is very clean, has an nice open floor plan, plenty of space to spread out, a great hot tub and nice views from the multiple decks. It is very well located close to town, near the YMCA, near the bus route and bike path, and a short distance from River Run or Warm Spings. We look forward to many more stays at this awesome house which always seems to have some cold beers waiting for us as we arrive.
