Private wooded home site with plenty of room to roam, Sleeps 9 + porta-crib

HillTop is in the family friendly Flora-Dale Association. Situated on top of a small hill, nestled in a quiet wooded area and yet it is just a short walking distance to all of the association 's amenities. Included is a shared private beach area, heated pool with slide, tennis courts, horseshoe, shuffle board, sandbox, basketball court & a place to moor a boat (bring an auger). You'll have a fully stocked kitchen that accommodates 9 comfortably. Amenities include: ping-pong table, video game system, DVD player, stereo, board games, deck chairs, picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill, 1 full size bed, 2 sets of twin size bunk beds, futon in the recreation room, port-a-crib, air mattress availability, living room with a couch, TV , dining area & breakfast bar. Nearby are boat rentals, Go-karting, bumper boats, mini-golf, dune rides/rentals, ice cream shops & the Little Pt. Sable State Park with it's beautiful beach,

AC units in each bedroom.

Use of internet is available in the clubhouse which is located behind the pool .

Why Leticia Zambuto chose Silver Lake

We welcome you to stay in our home away from home. We sort of 'stumbled' on to Silver Lake when we were looking for a quick getaway to fit in betwen Summer Hockey Camp & Baseball season...having two boys made it difficult to find time to get away! We came, we saw & we fell in love with Silver Lake. The dunes, beaches, beautiful sunsets, starry nights were everything we could hope for and a few years later bought HillTop. Our boys are now in college, but we still look forward to all that Silver Lake has to offer.

The Silver Lake Sand Dunes allows you access to both Lake Michigan & Silver Lake. While there is something to do for everyone, the dunes are the most popular. You can ride the dunes or simply walk through them. There are plenty of rentals that offer dune buggies, ATVs and jeeps . For the water lovers...Yes, there are watercrafts to rent too! Also nearby is the Little Point Sable Light House Beach. There is allot to see and do in the Silver Lake area including a 22 mile paved bike /hiking trail, golfing or horseback riding. There are bumper boats, go-karting tracks, miniature golf, beach shops and many other smaller specialty stores in town. Enjoy dinner out or BBQ & enjoy the evening by the fire pit gazing at the stars! Plan ahead & book your visit during one of the many festivals in town.

It has an open floor plan~Living room with couch, TV, DVD & stereo, separate dining table & kitchen bar area with seating for four + a high chair. The recreation room has a ping-pong table & futon. The State Park is within walking distance & The Little Point Sable Light House beach is 1.5 miles away. Go-carting, bumper boats, mini-golf, dune rides, boat rentals are all nearby. Beautiful sunsets & stars abound!

Would Stay Again

House was exactly as pictured on the outside. The pictures on the website did not represent the furnishings accurately. We were pleasently surprised by how tastefully the house was furnished. We enjoyed the quiet evenings by the fire pit as well as the ammenities in the lower level. We hope to return next year.

Our family of 9 had a lovely time here, the surroundings are beautiful and the place is roomy and comfortable.
Pros:
Clean, comfortable furniture, nicely stocked kitchen, master bedroom has an air conditioner, set-back in wooded/private area.
Cons:
Only one bathroom and door doesn't shut properly, one screen door doesn't shut properly letting mosquitoes in, pool area is about 3 blocks down a pretty pebbled wooded path (aka mosquito ally), lake is about 4 block walk.

All in all our family enjoyed their stay and found it well worth the lesser money than the houses closer to the beach!
