Relax and rejuvenate on this very secluded, salt water estate. Gather the group together in the huge, gourmet kitchen or in front of the fireplace in the great room. Escape to your own private nook on the spacious grounds – or picnic on your own private island! Enjoy the serene water views from the new deck off the great room. The first floor master bedroom suite has its own deck, king bed, and bath with 4 foot shower, whirlpool tub, and granite vanity. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and sleeping area. One bedroom has a king bed; one bedroom has two twins that can separate or be made into a king bed; the third bedroom has two twin beds. The second floor also has a sleeping/office area with day beds and a second full bath. The first floor has a gourmet kitchen, great room, laundry room with ½ bath, and the master suite. The house is equipped with local phone service, satellite TV and high speed Internet. Bed & bath linen provided.

Lubec has bold coastal cliffs, coastal rain forest, wildflower meadows, and several sandy beaches (rare this far Down East). The region is host to three state parks, a national wildlife refuge, and several nature preserves, all of which offer well maintained hiking trails. Lubec claims the easternmost point of land in the U.S. and is home to the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country. In fact, you can visit 4 lighthouses within a 10 mile radius of Lubec. Local whale, wildlife, and puffin tours offer the chance to observe nature up close. Nearby kayak and canoe rental facilities and the many public boat ramps in the area also offer a chance to explore and observe. The area is rich in history—from the first naval battle of the Revolutionary to Maine's own 'Cannery Row' which lined the waterfronts of the Downeast coast. You'll find it all here—rich history, spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and friendly people.

  • May, June, September & October: $1,000/wk. July $1,200/wk. August $1,400/wk.
    Please add $50/wk for pets or more than 8 people. A Reservation Deposit of $600 per week reserved ($650/week if you have a pet or more than 8 people), is due when you place your reservation. This deposit acts as a reservation deposit to secure your reservation until your stay begins. Once you arrive, it becomes the damage deposit for your stay. Damage deposit is refundable after stay is completed.

We fell in love with Federal Harbor from the deck of this Home. We watched the tide rise and go on our private secluded island and we made it a point to be back in time for the sun to set in the evening. Both were sights not to be missed. Our Dogs had a great time they were safe and played, we enjoyed the seclusion and quite tranquillity . The Farm estate itself was large and cute, provided everything we needed.... except maybe a lobster pot!! Federal Harbor is lovely! There`s a warmth there that each of us felt. The rooms are comfortable, clean and lots of windows to view your own island and harbor. our favorite rooms were the gourmet kitchen with the fabulous Viking stove and the master bedrm, it has a king size bed,whirlpool, and great walk in closet. The dining area is roomy. The grounds are perfect for either sitting on the porches watching the sunsets relaxing, or walking the dogs or just having fun together. The Harbor house is also a great place to return to after day trips.
The people of Lubec are so friendly and welcoming, and as one resident stated to us, "Lubec is the last unspoiled coastal area in all of Maine". I would not hesitate to return to the area or to rent this Home again.

Federal Harbor is lovely! There`s a warmth there that each of us felt. The rooms are comfortable, clean and lots of windows to view your own island and harbor. our favorite rooms were the gourmet kitchen with the fabulous Viking stove and the master bedrm, it has a king size bed,whirlpool, and great walk in closet. The dining area is roomy. The grounds are perfect for either sitting on the porches or playing soccer or just having fun together. The Harbor house is also a great place to return to after day trips.
Lubec area might be far out to some, it offers much that has been kept a secret. We have been coming to the Lubec area for twenty years now (since we moved here to Maine) and this area is still our favorite family spot. Quoddy Head State Park is nearby,you can also go over to Canada. Lubec has a great info spot make sure you stop in because they are very knowledgeable about the area.. Many hiking trails available (which we did everyday). Don`t forget to visit the coffee shop at downtown Lubec( ask for Yankee Doddle coffee). While you are there ask them when is the best time to see Harbor Seals by the wharf.
