This 3,000 Sq. Ft + executive-style house is two blocks from the base of Mount Alyeska Ski Resort in the beautiful Girdwood Valley, a 30-minute drive south of Anchorage. Surrounded by seven glaciers and spectacular mountains, Girdwood is to Alaska what Aspen is to Colorado. As one of the finest luxury rental homes in Girdwood, this all-redwood house features a large, gourmet kitchen with Brazilian granite counters, professional gas range, Indian slate floor, stainless appliances, and a roomy kitchen island for entertaining. Wireless Internet is available. The main living area has hardwood floors, and features a large open circular fireplace with multiple couches and chairs around it and a wall of windows with a gorgeous view of Mount Alyeska. There is a pool table, stereo, and carpeted TV room area with multiple comfy couches and chairs. The main bathroom features a huge 80-gallon Jacuzzi tub set in travertine tile. Our 4 bedrooms are all very large and comfortably sleep 10 people.

We had a great time in a beautiful house, well
equipped, near the skipiste. The weather was
perfect: sunny, not to cold. We did great excursions
like whale whatching, snowmobile.
We tell all our dutch frineds to make a visit to
Alaska, specially Girdwood , and stay in your house!

Cabin was spacious and well-supplied. Pool table and entertainment system kept us occupied during inclement weather. Close to lifts, though just beyond comfortable walking distance. Great place for our group. I'd definitely recommend to anyone needing a base to explore the Chugach area.

The house was excellent, getting our four kids and 2 spouses together from across the country this was the perfect house to be able to spend time together and yet with enough room to have your own space. Even at -25 it was still comfortable.
Only con-needs a larger hot tub.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children

We had a great time during our stay. The house worked out great for our group and it was helpful to have a fully stocked kitchen so we could cook our daily catch. The pool table and fireplace made the stay that more enjoyable.
Thanks for all the recommendations as to places to find good food and good fun. If I ever get back up to Alaska I would stay again.

Thank you so very much for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. Girdwood is a gorgeous place and all the windows and open floor plan of your home allowed us to appreciate it that much more. The pool table was a blast and the home is so spacious we never felt like we were tripping over eachother (even with 3 kids under the age of 10). It was the perfect spot for our family of 8. We had the best location for attending my brother's wedding and reception in Girdwood. I would recommend your home to anyone traveling in the area - thank you!
