Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

A very private one bedroom Town Home style guest suite, with a separate entrance, located in this lovely Gothic Revival style home.

This includes a complete kitchen, set-up for total housekeeping [ all you'll need is food&beverage ] plus a large living room [with a sectional couch plus] downstairs. Upstairs is the bedroom with a queen size bed and a double size convertible sofa bed and a full size bath.

This Town Home is very spacious [750sf] and has recently been totally redecorated giving your space a warm feeling and is air conditioned for your comfort.

On the outside, your area increases to include a large back yard, a screened-in summer house with a standing fire place for those romantic evenings, a very private deck for taking in those RAYS during the day or a picnic including a grill. Adjacent to the deck is a room [back of garage] that has some exercise equipment for your use.

Or, if you'd like take a leisure 3 minute walk to view Lake Ontario or extend to the Old Lighthouse/Museum [pic#5], beaches, marinas, and downtown activities including a modern play ground.

Also, there is an abundance of things to explore within a 1-2 hour drive, we would love to share our findings with you if given the opportunity!

About The Owner

We decided in 2007 to start offering our rental unit during the spring-summer-fall season to help bring 1-4 people to our lovely village at a resonable price. Seems that this was a good decision as we've had young couples w/wo kids, older sunbirds and of course those in between. Consequently, we've decided to offer our Guest Suite for all four seasons as we have had inquiries for such because of what the AREA provides.

My wife is of third generation born in Sodus Point and my roots are from all around Sodus Bay, we have stories to tell !

My wife and I stayed at the Lotus for a week in October. The location was perfect for us to explore
all of upstate New York. Fingers Lakes region,Erie Canal, Niagara, 1000 Lakes area and a train trip into New York City and back in one day. The apartment is well appointed and amenities were as described. Charles and Esther have lived in the area since childhood and were a good source of information.
Sodus Bay has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Be sure to try Captain Jacks for lunch or dinner.

Charming and Comfortable

Our one week stay at the Sodus Lotus couldn't have been better. The home is clean, up to date and comfortable with all the amenities for a relaxing vacation. The street is quiet but close to the bay for swimming, fishing, bicycling. There are places to eat and drink with in walking distance. Our 6 yr old daughter had a great time as well playing in the huge, beautiful back yard. The deck in the rear opens up to the back yard and is perfect for grilling, reading or just relaxing. Charles and Esther were so accommodating during our stay. We have already booked our stay next year and suggest you do as well before the remaining spaces are filled. Thanks for a wonderful week of vacation!

Our weekend stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sodus Lotus; it has everything we desired. The apartment is very clean and spacious and well depicted by the online photographs. The residential area is a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy the owners gardens. We easily walked to the nearby historic lighthouse and lake view. We are so glad these friendly owners decided to share their piece of paradise near the lake and bay. The local restaurants are very good and people are super friendly and helpful.

We look forward to a return visit.

Great Find at Sodus Point

We recently spent five nights at the Sodus Lotus and we loved our time there. The place was even nicer than the pictures and the location was perfect--close to town and all the other areas we explored. Everything one could ask for is provided and and the property was very clean and very well maintained. Our hosts, Charles and Esther, were extremely helpful in answering our questions and we enjoyed their conversations. The grounds are beautiful and very private-morning coffee on the back deck was a favorite time. We would definitely recommend the Sodus Lotus and hope to visit again.

Exquisite Garden Paradise

My wife and I just spent a lovely week at the Sodus Lotus with our 2 year old daughter. The grounds are magnificent; the apartment is impeccably clean, well furnished, and private; and the location was ideal--only a few minutes walk to the bay, the lake, and the shops and restaurants. The owners are incredibly charming and knowledgeable about the area, and can offer recommendations on where to eat and what to do. My family and I hope to make the Sodus Lotus an annual sojourn.

Owner's Response: Thanks to reviewers like Tim and his family we [owners] have had a life changing summer, everyone has been so enjoyable to spend some time with and are looking forward to seeing and helping them again. We are already receiving interest for 2011 and are taking reservations. With ALL that said motivation is creeping in for next year and we've already up-dated the grill and refurbished the summer house [ new screen and completely painted the interior ] which is in the back yard nicely shaded.
