Ocean City Vacation Rental house

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous week at this beautiful rental with our daughter (4) and son (2). We knew from the pictures that the house would be "cute," and since it was also affordable, available, and offered 3 bedrooms, we expected it to meet our needs. Little did we know it would do FAR more! Upon arrival we were shocked at the size of the rooms...much larger than they appear online. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was luxurious (I felt spoiled with the stainless steel appliances and gas stove), and the large outdoor shower (with hot water, BTW) was an absolute lifesaver when returning from the beach with our sand-covered kiddos.

Speaking of the beach, it's literally just steps up the road, and this particular entrance offers stairs and a ramp, which was convenient for our jogging stroller. This is primarily a residential area, so the boardwalk is less congested than the main stretch. However, Brown's restaurant is ony one block away, so we enjoyed their "almost famous" donuts on more than one occasion. And when we were in the mood to browse more shops and eateries, we had only a five-minute walk south on the boardwalk, so we barely used our van the entire week.

When we weren't enjoying the shore and boardwalk, we spent lots of time lounging on the front porch, reading or talking. Pennlyn Place proved to be a quiet, friendly street, and since we visited in mid-September, we had plenty of on-street parking. During on-season months I could foresee parking being a bit more difficult, but with the home's promiximity to Ocean City's main attractions, there is little need to move a vehicle once it's parked.

Finally, we were also pleased with the communication we received from the homeowner and the simplicity of our check-in/out. The customer service was excellent from our first inquiry to departure. If finances allow, we won't hesitate to book this property again, on-season or off!
