Take a stroll to Pease Park, Shoal Creek and wonderful local restaurants and shops. Enjoy a freshly decorated modern residence surrounded by golden bamboo with a Japanese-inspired courtyard and large shady yard, hammock and patio. Grab a bottle of wine and a panini down the street or wind down in the backyard grilling your own Texas BBQ. Local restaurants include Ruby's Barbecue, 34th Street Cafe, Vino Vino, Madam Mam's Thai. Great shopping in the area. Relax in the open living area with a wall of opening glass doors, wood floors, river stone and stainless accents, contemporary local art, chic well-equipped kitchen, spa-like master bath with large garden tub and separate shower. The house is thoroughly cleaned using almost entirely natural and safe green products. We are kid friendly and have a cache of games and toys and activities in the house. High-chair, potty seat if you need it, baby pool, sprinkler...lots of fun for lil' ones.

Located in Downtown Austin in the prestigious National Historic District of Pemberton Heights and 1/2 a mile to The University of Texas and a couple of miles to the Capitol Building, downtown nightlife, Town Lake, Lake Austin, Auditorium Shores, Zilker Park and Whole Foods Headquarters. Three large bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and open living/dining downstairs. The Master suite has a huge garden tub separate tiled shower and large walk-in closet. Loads of windows throughout and views of trees and bamboo create a sense of privacy. There is a large shady yard, outdoor dining area and a lovely lounging courtyard. The house has been chicly and expertly outfitted with good quality furnishings, the kitchen is stocked with many essentials and we provide nice hand soaps, shampoos, conditioner and bubble bath. Families with young children should know there are many toys and books for little ones, a high chair, pack and play, kiddie pool, baby gate and more.

Notes: Great house for grown-ups or families. We keep a supply of toys and books, high chair, booster seat and safety gate to make things a little easier with the kids. Walk to Pease Park, Close to public pools, library. Prestigious neighborhood two miles to Town Lake, Zilker Park, Downtown, Convention Center and Three more large bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and open living/dining downstairs. Our party of four had a wonderful weekend stay. Nestled among arts and crafts style homes in one of Austin's older neighborhoods, you'll feel like you live in Austin when you stay here. This house is conveniently located near downtown, a number of excellent neighborhood restaurants (Kerbey Lane is a favorite!) and the great Central Market grocery store on Lamar. We hope to stay here on our next trip to Austin. I highly recommend!

We spent Christmas week at this wonderful home and loved every single thing about it. Kiki provided all the necessities needed and we all felt very much at home. The house is clean and comfortable and the location is great. I would highly recommend this rental and definitely plan on returning.

We stayed here with my 3 young children and my
parent's for a week last summer. The house was very
comfortable and Kiki was a great hostess, She left
extra toys and was available to answer questions
about places to go. All in all a great place.

Stayed with a group of friends on 9/5-9/7 and had an absolute blast. The house was even better than we thought. Perfect location with easy cab access to downtown. House was clean and tastefully decorated. Owner even came over with extra sheets.

Our family LOVED, LOVED, LOVED staying at this beautiful house. There is so much space and light...it feels like home. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for helping us to feel incredibly comfortable on our vacation! Our two year old daughter's favorite part of the whole trip was playing with the toys and train set! My favorite parts were the modern decor, the organic & earth-friendly products provided for guests, and the huge bathtub in the master bedroom. We had an amazing time and would definitely return to this gorgeous home. :)
