The lobstermen will haul their traps right in front of you! Stroll down over the ledges and gaze at the ocean or try your luck with a fishing pole. This is the way life should be! This great little cabin is at the end of U.S. Route 24, 17 miles from Brunswick, Maine. You'll travel over three bridges and cruise along one of the most scenic coastal roads in Maine to reach us. About a 1 hour drive from Portland airport and 3 hours from Boston, MA or Manchester, NH. airports.

We spent a great week here! It was everything we thought it would be and more. The views were great! Couldn't have asked for a better vacation, just made it all the harder to leave and come back home.

The best vacation I've ever been on ...

When my 2 teenage children and I arrived at our cabin we were shocked to say the least. The views were absolutely stunning. They were everything we dreamed of and more. The pictures that are posted on the rental property site were awesome, but the real thing was better then we could have imagined. We could not wait to go walk on the rocky bay edge that could be viewed from the cabin. We took our breakfast out and ate it on the rocks every morning. Seagulls would come right up with in about 4 feet of you. Listen to the tide roll in and watching the lobster boats check their catches was like a dream. Ron & Wendy were perfect to deal with; very friendly and helpful. The Land's End Gift Shop near the cabin was the best gift shop I have ever been to. They had just about anything and everything a lighthouse lover could want. We did a lot of sightseeing while we were there; I am ready to go back and just spend a few days at the cabin/bay site. The memories that I have from their with my children will last forever.

Peaceful Get Away

We had a relaxing, peaceful week during our vacation on Bailey Island. Our cottage/cabin on Jaquish Lane was exactly as described. Relaxing and reading on the deck overlooking the water was exactly what we both needed. The cottage was efficient and clean. The owners truly care about the property! We greatly enjoyed our first vacation on Bailey Island, it is rural, picturesque, tranquil and friendly. We will undoubtedly return.

Absolutely the Best

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. The views are the greatest. The owners are so nice. Its great to go somewhere and be treated so nice. The cabin itself was so comfy and cozy. Coffee in the morning on the deck makes you feel like you are in paradise. We are going back every year.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
