We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and found it very welcoming and comfortable for 3 adults. We didn't quite work out the shower, but all managed to get wet! We really appreciated the extensive notes on the apartment, nearby restaurants and where to park. The apartment was clean, the couch was fantastic, and overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Stayed here for 3 nights the first week of September. Drove into Boston and dumped the rental car because location was fine for our stay. Very convenient to restaurants, freedom trail, Charlestown, etc.
It was great to be able to walk to so many restaurant choices in the north end. Got a recommendation from a local and ate at Trattoria Monica, which was our favorite meal in a week on the east coast.
Jacuzzi tub/shower had a bit of a confusing overload of knobs and spigots, but overall the place was very nice and comfortable
2 friends and I had the delightful experience of finding this great place to stay while visiting Boston for a week long summer vacation in August. This place is ideally located for a place that provided great atmosphere, excellent amentities, and very cordial and responsive management. We had a couple of early issues and called the management who took care of everything within a couple of hours after reporting concerns. They were extremely accommodating! We found the location ideal for getting to everything we wanted to see and were able to get nearly everywhere by walking. We did not have a car and never missed having one! My friends and I had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat. We could not have found a nicer place to stay! Thank you for your hopitality. It was a great vacation!
This quiet house is steps away from the famous Freedom Trail and within blocks several of the major tourist sites. There are probably a couple of hundred restaurants within easy walking distance.
We're a family of five and had no trouble fitting ourselves in there. They provide air mattresses but our eleven year-old son just crashed on the couch.
If you have a car, you'll have to garage it, as it appeared to me that there's no parking anywhere in the city of Boston. There is a convenient garage just around the block, though.
We walked the Freedom Trail in reverse and ended up at Boston Commons. We were tired and took a cab back for about 10 bucks (tip included).
Such a great city and our trip was made better by staying at this affordable, well-located home.
This is a GREAT place for a family of 4. We fully-enjoyed the quiet street, the proximity to T lines, close walking distance from Salem street restaurants (and others just another block away).
We were also pleased by modern conveniences, A/C that worked well, and plenty of room for our luggage etc even in the bedrooms.
I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a perfect alternative to a hotel or residence-style lodging -- the ultimate combination of convenience, creature comforts, and proximity.
2 Adults, 2 teenagers stayed for a long weekend. Place just as described - great location, great amenities, plenty of extra bedding, pillows, and paper products. Loved the proximity to the "T", and the roof top deck was an extra treat. Bedrooms in the basement were nice and dark for sleeping. Highly recommended!
