Well, another wonderful year with the whole family in our (2nd home). John we loved the new pattle boat we even took it out in the rain it was awsome had alot of good laughs and some new wonderful memories. We even had the deer coming right up to us at the fire pit by the lake lots of great pictures, and alot of great shopping was had by the family. We love to geo cache when we are up there, there is so much to do but the time seems to go by so fast and before you know it are week is up. Allready planning next year i do have to say we missed the old coach fo wathing are movies at night. Till next year thanks for being such wonderful owner and we will be back next july caint wait.
We where hoping you would of been able to stop up so we finaly could have met we feel like we know you even if only by phone.
This house is extremely over-priced and beat-up. The listing is not inaccurate, but when I read that pets, smoking, and people under 30 are not allowed, I expected it to be in good condition. I was wrong. We only spent about 36 hours there, but found ripped screens, door locks missing, holes in doors and walls, and a mouse we named Frank. Most of the games worked which is why it gets a Fair rating instead of a Poor rating and it does indeed have access to water, though I would call it a pond rather than a lake because you can walk across it and you can't necessarily see the lake from the house in the summer.
Also, the front yard smelled like there was a hole in the septic tank.
Overall, I would not recommend this place for anyone over 30.
For a couple years now my family has been going to the game room we feel like it is our 2nd home. We don't have to go to far since we are only 45 minutes from the location which sounds odd but i can have my whole family come up over several days as not everybody can always get time off work. John and Scott are awsome to deal with and make sure everything is always perfect for are arival. We already know are date for next year which is always the same week lol. Most relaxing and beautiful place to go plenty of wildlife and you hardley ever see anybody else on the lake.. Thanks guys for another great week we miss the place already and we all cried when it was time to leave next year can't come soon enough if even thinking about a getaway you wouldn't be disapointed.
All games were fully funcitonal, BBQ worked great, Great location..few miles from C-Back. Enough room to sleep atleast 10 comfortably. Has an older, nostalgic cabin look and feel. Overall, I would recommend this property.
We stayed at Camelback II over the New Year Holiday. The house was set up well for two families with young children. We had 6 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of sleeping room. The kids especially enjoyed the game room! The kitchen was well equipped and very clean – a brand new gas grill on the porch.
Camelback Mountain was a great family ski area just 10 mins. away from the house. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable family getaway. We were able to relax in our own environment without the worries and restrictions of staying in a condo or hotel. Very close to skiing, outlet shopping and good restaurants.
Thanks John! We hope to come back next year.
The house was great and location better. Less then 10 minutes from Camelback, outlet shops and very near to the grocery store. The house had everything the ad promised. Pool table, full size video games, TV's and stero. The kids enjoyed playing the video games and the adults enjoyed the pool table. The floor plan has a very nice flow with lots of space. The kitchen had everything we ladies needed and the dining area was roomy enough for sit down meals. After a cold evening on the slopes the fireplace was just thing to take the chill off and the bedrooms were a welcome sight and haven for our exhausted bodies. The veiw of the lake was picturesque. We would definitly stay at the house again only next time we would plan to stay longer.
