Felt like a frat house

This house is extremely over-priced and beat-up. The listing is not inaccurate, but when I read that pets, smoking, and people under 30 are not allowed, I expected it to be in good condition. I was wrong. We only spent about 36 hours there, but found ripped screens, door locks missing, holes in doors and walls, and a mouse we named Frank. Most of the games worked which is why it gets a Fair rating instead of a Poor rating and it does indeed have access to water, though I would call it a pond rather than a lake because you can walk across it and you can't necessarily see the lake from the house in the summer.
Also, the front yard smelled like there was a hole in the septic tank.
Overall, I would not recommend this place for anyone over 30.
Owner's Response: Its amazing you can get two reviews three days apart from one another, and get two completely different views. I encourage everyone who stays with us to write a reveiw, and I thank my guests for doing so. Please read all reviews before drawing a conclusion.
I thank them for informing us for the imperfections that our house has. We have a very busy calendar during the summer with only a 4 hour window between renters leaving and coming so it is very tough to have some of these imperfections rectified until the end of the season.
Now that the summer rental season is over, we will certainly address all of these issues.
Pond vs. Lake? The body of water that is behind our house is 14 acres lake. When you view it on the map, it says it right there, "It's a lake".
PS. My kids also name the deer, chipmunks, racoons, mice, skunks, and the wildlife that are up in the community.
1/9/13 - Just as a follow-up, we've addressed all the issues that this guest had. Thanks for looking.
Thank you,
John and Scott
