It's away from all the traffic has the following amenities available: Wedding Chapel , Clubhouse with fitness center/sauna/steam room, Outdoor Pavilion, Outdoor Swimming Pool with spa.   • Cancellations/Changes: Making Memories will issue a full refund of your deposit, minus your non-refundable reservation fee, for reservations canceled 30 days prior to your arrival date. Deposits and fees for reservations changed or canceled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date are non-refundable. Only the guest named on the rental agreement may cancel a reservation, and cancellations must be made by phone to our office. Refunds are not provided for nights removed less than 30 days prior to guest arrival. Changes to cabin size or type are subject to cancellation policies and may not be done inside 30 days. Only the guest named on the rental agreement may make changes to a reservation Any allowed changes to a reservation after a cabin has been reserved will result in a $45 change reservation fee..

Perfect vacation cabin !!!

My wife and I spent last week at the cabin. It was a great experience from the very beginning. The owner was wonderful, the office staff could not have been nicer, and the cabin was fantastic. Spotless clean and very comfortable. We hated to leave. Overall a tremendous vacation... Thanks to all involved. we will definately be back as soon as possible.

Making Memories cabin uses a managment company to meet the guest's needs during their stay including: information about area activities and events, driving directions to attractions, and housekeeping.

We stayed at "Making Memories" for 4 days in April. It was the first time we had stayed here though I cannot count the times we have been to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.
The cabin was very clean and the view is priceless. We did something each day and I enjoyed driving through the craft community which is very close. The down side is the fact that the cabin is a "cluster cabin" which means a lack of privacy. Also there is construction. We didn't know about this ahead of time. It was still a great getaway for my husband, myself and our dog, CJ.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this cabin and loved it. We are both used to staying in hotels in Gatlinburg with our families so, this was just the romantic getaway that we needed. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. Nobody above or below, which is nice in a resort community. We will for sure return in the future!
Owner's Response: Making Memories cabin is close to all Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. It is perched up high in a resort community with amazing views and within walking distance to the amenities: pool, clubhouse, and cabana.

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

We go to Pigeon Forge each year to visit Dollywood for Christmas and this year we rented a cabin directly from the owner, not a company and we were very pleased! We got more than we planned. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. The cabin was located right down from the main entrance of Dollywood, so it was a breeze to get to and from everything we needed. We were also so glad to see how well stocked it was with everything we could need in the kitchen. When we had been told that before with other rentals, it was simply the basics, but here, they had coffee maker, toaster, blender, top of the line appliances, dishes, utensils, even baking pans and dishes. The room that we had to move around was unexpected and needed with our children. We could watch tv upstairs while they enjoyed their movies downstairs. Then in the evening after they went to bed, we enjoyed the hot tub under the stars!!! We will definitely be calling to rent this cabin again.
