The location of this studio was very good, close to everything. Waikiki beach is just across the street, Kapiolani Park, Honolulu Zoo right across the road and Diamond Head a beautiful sight to look at. The 10th floor sun deck was amazing for an absolutely gorgeous view. We did not rent a car, but bus service is just in front of the hotel, so very easy to get around.
The condo, though small was perfect for a couple. It was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The well equipped kitchenette was a nice amenity. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't it, but for us who would rather spend the extra money on doing and seeing things, it was perfect. (And no cockroaches--as some of the negative reviews of the hotel stated)!
Although there is a gay bar in the hotel on the 2nd floor, we were up on the 9th floor, so never heard any noise. In regards to that, we were not the only husband and wife team staying there--so the hotel does not only cater to guys!
The owner of the condo gave us a call the night we came in to see if everything was alright. That was great! We would recommend this condo to our friends and we would not hesitate to go back there if ever in Waikiki again--and we plan to go back. It was our first time there and we totally loved it.
