This lovely farmhouse in West Rutland, Vermont was built in 1842 and was the original Boardman family farm. It has been extensively renovated, but still retains the cozy country feeling. Nestled on 5 acres of open land with mountain views, the farmhouse has flower and vegetable gardens, a great outdoor deck for relaxing and entertaining, and a long dirt road for biking or walking. Although it's in a rural setting, it's only a 10 minute drive from Rutland, 10 minutes from Castleton State College, 15 minutes from Lake Bomoseen, and 25 minutes from world-class skiing and snowboarding at Killington Resort.

Boardman Farm is located in West Rutland, on the western border of Vermont. The farm sits on a peaceful rural hill in the Green Mountains, between the peaks of Killington Resort and the shores of Lake Bomaseen, the largest lake located wholly within Vermont. Lake Bomoseen includes a beach for swimming, a picnic area, boating, and fishing. Killington Resort stretches across seven mountains and features 200 diverse trails served by 32 lifts. The surrounding area is home to antique shops, golf courses, family farms, mountain streams, and inspiring vistas. A wonderful place to restore your spirit!
