Old World Charm in a Great Neighborhood
Review Submitted: November 25, 2009

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for the entire month of October, 2009, and loved it!
The building amenities and the apartment itself were exactly as advertised. We especially liked the old world charm of the decor, the beautiful marble bath with its powerful showerhead, and the comfy mattress on the bed. Everything worked perfectly, too, including the wireless internet, just in case that’s important to you, as it was for us being there for a month.
The location of this place is amazing -- walking distance to many of Manhattan’s major attractions. How great is it when you can go just a few blocks east to Central Park or a few blocks west to the Hudson River! Or walk to the Metropolitan Museum of Art or Lincoln Center . Or duck into the subway and within minutes be heading into a Broadway show. Or go all the way downtown without changing trains. By the way, we are film buffs and this apartment is within walking distance of four movie theaters.
But sometimes you will simply want to stay in your neighborhood, where the pace is vibrant but not really hectic, and spend the day exploring the charming tree-lined streets and soooo many shops and restaurants.
We also can’t say enough good things about the owner, who had everything ready for us and took the time to check and make sure all was well after we’d settled in. From our very first contact Patricia was a pleasure to do business with, plus she steered us to some really great places to eat!
