Large Beautiful Rental Home Lake Pend Orielle Sandpoint Idaho Schweitzer Ski Mtn

We could sum up our stay in this beautiful home with just one word: Fabulous. Our children and grandchildren (12 people total) all joined us for a weekend of family fun under one roof. We were on a mission to find a quiet place to relax and enjoy the Christmas season without the pressures and time constraints that the holiday itself often brings to everyone. The home is beautiful. The owner's have furnished it for themselves rather than a rental place and it's obvious. The furniture is comfortable and beautiful. We loved the modern kitchen that was stocked with all of the utensils we needed. With preparing meals for 12 people, it was nice to have some of the "extras" that the kitchen provided like the warming drawer (wonderful invention!). The gas fireplace had the wonderul rustic appearance that we wanted for our escape to the country with the added plus of "flip a switch" ease. The beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom/bath are both very spacious. ------ This was our first attempt to try something new for our family Christmas and it was a complete success. We left with great memories and looking forward to doing it again next year. Thank you, Brian and Cheryl, for sharing your beautiful home!

Could not be better. Perfect house with lots of room. Close to the lake as well as any activity imaginable. We would recommend this house to anyone.

The house itself was beautiful inside and out. very niely decorated and provided many comforts for all of us. It took us a bit to figure out how to use the remotes for the tv and stereo/dvd set up but with perserverance we girls were able to figure it out.

The only drawback we came across in the bedrooms was one set of bunkbeds the women thought was way to claustraphobic for adults to sleep on and were really only meant for children. I wish there were a dvd player in the master bedroom. Even tho it had satelite tv. We loved the deck and the outdoor fireplace. The view off the deck was not so appealing tho. there was a area dug out that was filled with water. Probably soon to be another house and with the heavy winter had just been flooded. So not the owners fault and maybe the convenants dont allow a fence to hide the eyesore.

We all wished we could own a place like this but in a different location to allow for more privacy when outside. But it certainly is a beautiful home.
