House - 3 Bedrooms + Office - 2.5 Baths - (Sleeps 6-8)

Wake up to a spectacular view of Lago Nuhuel Haupi in the 'St. Moritz of the Andes'. Bariloche is world-famous as the gateway to Patagonia - evergreen forests, snow-capped mountains, deep & clear blue lakes with a Swiss-like architecture. With the warm & friendly people of Argentina Bariloche has become a popular destination for sports lovers and outdoor adventure. The house is only 15 minutes from the most scenic skiing in South America at Cerro Cathedral in the winter and close to fishing, trekking, sailing, white-water rafting, horseback riding or golf at a championship course in the summer.

Newly built with cathedral ceilings throughout and luxuriously furnished, this new 2-level house has 2 satellite TV's; DVD; surround-sound stereo; cordless phone; WI-FI; open fireplace; and a spacious deck overlooking Bariloche. Downstairs is the master suite with full bath [shower-tub] and a guest bath. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms [w/ 2 single beds each]; full bath & bunk beds to sleep 8 people.

Great views throughout.

The dining room seats six. Kitchen includes microwave; coffee maker; toaster; juicer; blender and a washer/dryer. All cookware; dishes; silverware; glassware; linens; towels; etc. are provided. Maid service is offered once per week [or daily for an additional charge on request]. Firewood is provided.

Also, each of the two single beds in the guest bedrooms upstairs can be made into doubles on request. Bunk beds in the office sleep an additional 2 people. A parrilla [BBQ] is conveniently located on the back patio.

Simplesmente maravilhosos os 10 dias que passamos em Bariloche nesta casa fenomenal. 9 pessoas muito bem acolhidas, quase todos os dias acordávamos vendo a neve cobrir a rua, sensacional, muito bem aquecida, um sonho! perfect place to stay in bariloche

me and my family had a great time this house.
the location is perfect, the kids loved to make snowmens in the backyard, and to go playing on the snow in front of the house. the rooms were very confortable, but the heater was not working very well, maybe because it the wether was too cold. a car is necessary. the proprety is very well manteined overall, and we are planning to go back next year.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Good stay in Bariloche

Overall, a good experience. House is very well kept, clean, functional, comfortable, good heating. I would not rate it as luxurious, though.
Good location for hitting the road to Cerro Catedral. Five minutes to town centre by car (which I srongly recommend having).
Good service from owner / agent.
We spent one week and enjoyed living there.
Some really minor things: too many dogs barking nearby at night; could use better cooking utensils; nothing relevant, really.
Some may want a much closer location to the lake, but ours was just fine.
Bariloche and surroundings were spectacular for sightseeing and this place helped as an excellent base.
Would rent again and recommend.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
