Nestled in the breathtaking San Juan mountains of the tiny artisan town of Creede, Colorado, our piney home on 17 acres of private land, surrounded by national forest, with hiking trails accessible all year round and snow shoes to create your own in the glorious winter. It has a large deck, six foot windows that allow you to watch the theater of sunrise, sunset, walking rains and the occasional moose…4&1/2 bedrooms, three full baths including a steam and a Jacuzzi. Fully equipped kitchen, eclectic library of books and music. Comfortable furniture indoors and out. Town is a ten-minute drive or a 40-minute walk through aspen covered paths. 1 hour drive to pagosa hot springs, and 45-minute drive to wolf creek ski area. 25 minutes to the Rio Grande golf and country club. Notes: This is a most exceptional secluded get away from it all home away from home. we hike every day the scenery is some of the most beautiful in the world. you are 5 minutes from the town of Creede, 1 hour from Pagosa hot springs and 45 minutes from wolf creek ski area. 25 minutes from the Rio Grande golf and country club in south fork. it is home to some of the best trout fishing in the world the home of the renowned Creede repertory theater, and a thriving arts community.the cabin is at 9,000feet. the house comes with a wonderful DVD library and a surround sound entertainment center, also has XM radio, and dish network for the TV is available but optional. there is a very romantic cozy attic with a full bath and a pull out trundle bed, also has it's own terrace and private entrance, breathtaking views 360 degrees from anywhere on the property, surrounded by national forest, total privacy.
