Absolutely Amazing In All Respects

I can't say enough great things about this home, its owner and the area. I went there with my wife and three children (18 year-old son, 15 year-old daughter and 6 year-old son) and we all loved it. The house is absolutely stunning and in impeccable condition. It contains all the modern amenities you could ask for (wi-fi, granite counters, stainless steel applicances, beautiful slate and wooden floors, large washer and dryer, etc.). The house is decorated beautifully with very tasteful western decor. Carolyn Leigh, the owner of the house has carefully planned everything to make your stay as enjoyable and easy as possible (perfect directions, a managing agent to help with any issues, all items necessary for your stay (designer soaps, shampoo, dishes, linens, numerous visitor guides with helpful pointers). People may wonder whether it is too far from Jackson Hole--it is not! This home is the best and most perfect location for visitors to the area. Jackson Hole contains a lot of tourists and is somewhat congested--it is a wonderful place to visit--but not to sleep in. The home is located in the town of Driggs Idaho. The town contains everuthing you could ask for (very large and modern supermarket, coffee houses, great icecream shop, banks, gast stations, clothing stores, old fashioned record store, pharmacy with a soda fountain, drive-in theater--it's like a Norman Rockwell type town. The town is a great base for trips to Jackson (a 30-40 minute drive over the Teton Pass (stunning views and many overlooks to take pictures from). Along the way to Jackson, you pass through some very quaint towns (Victor, Moose, etc.). In the other direction from the house, you can go to the Targhee resort area (about 20 minutes away). The views to Targhee are simply amazing as you drive along very highly elevated roads to the peak of the mountains. I highly recommend the Ski Lift and horseback riding at Targhee. The wranglers are very caring and it is very reasonably priced. We flew into SLC and drove to Carolyn's house taking a very scenic route. While SLC is certainly much further from the house than Idaho Falls or Jackson Hole Airports, airfares to SLC are more reasonably priced and flights more plentiful. Additionally, if you fly into SLC, you can stay over in some beautiful towns on the way to Driggs (e.g. Bear Lake) and see some great attractions (e.g., Bearland). The key to this wonderful property is that Carolyn treats it as her own and not a commercial rental.
