Built in 2007, The Mountain Majesty accommodations include 4 bedrooms with 3 and 1/2 baths, sleeping up to 8 people in four separate bedrooms, a tri-level home with 2,500 sq. ft. of indoor living space, plus over 800 sq. ft. of decks. Beautiful pine walls & ceilings in living room, loft, and full kitchen. You'll find this charming residence a comfortable mountain home away from home. The Mountain Majesty is privately owned as a family retreat and was built with the purpose of escaping to the beauty and serenity of the western North Carolina Mountains and was designed with vacationers in mind. There are 3 decks and 3 floors, each with at least one bedroom and full bath, 6 TVs as well as DVD & VHS, pool table, foosball table, and wireless internet access for your laptops. We hope your stay at The Mountain Majesty will provide you with special memories that are waiting to be made. The Mountain Majesty is fully stocked with linens, cooking utensils, microwave, air conditioning.

    Spring might be the very best. Imagine the new green foliage in the woods, the great variety of wildflowers, the whitewater streams, exuberant waterfalls, and wildlife emerging from winter dens. Kiss cabin fever goodbye and visit.

    Summer is a favorite time because the kids are out of school and it’s traditional to vacation in the summer when both flora and fauna are at their peak. The mountain temperatures offer relief from the heat and enjoyment of the mountains is at the optimum.

    Fall season attracts visitors who will appreciate the explosion of color that comes when Mother Nature exposes the brilliant colors that remain after the chlorophyll is gone due to cooler temperatures. There is not a sweeter moment in the area than when the crisp, cool air greets the sun as it rises over the mountains.

    Winter is a marvelous time at The Mountain Majesty. If you like things quieter and easy going, then winter is for you.

The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with everything to handle from the simplest meal to your complete Thanksgiving tradition. The dining area hosts a dining table with six chairs as well as island countertop dining for four. The main floor master suite has a king-sized bed, satellite TV, full bathroom & private deck. On the top floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a full bathroom. The loft area boasts additional living space with desk for your laptop with wireless Internet access. The lower level features the 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds and satellite TV, a full bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, and recreation area, complete with Foosball, pool table, a library of books, puzzles, games and movies. From here, step out onto another deck to rock the day away on the covered porch rocking chairs. Satellite TV is also set up in this family/recreation room with DVD and VHS. Large pub table is there for you to enjoy board and card games or work at a puzzle. Arrivals are 3:00 p.m. -- Departures are 11:00 a.m.

We just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we have had at your "Mountain Majesty"! We couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate this holiday! Your attention to detail in your home makes it feel like a home away from home. All your brochures and notes helped plan an amazing time here...from visiting Biltmore, climbing Chimney Rock, (and watching the "Last of the Mochicans" the night before :) to tubing in the snow on Christmas Day. We will always remember this beautiful place and look forward to coming back again one day!

The cabin was as described in the listing .The pictures accurately reflect the appearance and amenities.The cabin was very clean and looked very well maintained.
The owners could not have been more helpful ,they send us a packet with information about the cabin ,the surrounding area and attractions nearby.And their website answers anything not covered in the packet.We would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day live and spend some quiet days in the beautiful tranquil mountains.
The best restaurant is the back deck and the grill.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

A winter wonderland

Our visit to the cabin at the top of the hill, with beautiful spansive views of blue and purple mountains made a gray winter day special. We arrived right before an ice storm and therefore had plenty of time to enjoy the nicely appointed cabin from the inside out. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, bowls, knives etc. to make all your meals and cookies! easily. Late the next day we trekked day to the quaint waterfall in the community. We had a wonderful visit with family and would hope to visit again sometime.

Gorgeous Views!

The house was warm, cozy and inviting. The amazing mountain views were better than expected. We watched the sun set behind the mouontain range every night. The house was well-stocked and clean. We are already talking about WHEN we will return.
