The brand new Brook Chalet is a member of The Bethel Chalets and is located on a 2.5 acre, wooded lot, bordered by mountain brooks. The home has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12. The master bedroom has a vaulted pine ceiling with gorgeous mountain views. The great room has panoramic views from the sliding glass doors, modern kitchen with granite counter tops, stone fireplace and island bar. The large deck looks out to Mt. Abram and you can X-country ski, snow-show or hike the woods and the mountain brooks right from the home. All towels and linens are provided. The home has a washer/dryer/dishwasher for your convenience. The home also has HD satellite TV, foosball, pool table, Xbox, and high speed Internet. This home is a great place to rest and relax during the summer heat and for fall foliage. We also have a Go Green initiative. We make a donation to offset each visitor's carbon emissions! We loved the Brook Chalet

My family of four and my parents stayed at the Brook Chalet in June 2009. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to others. The description given is accurate and the home is lovely. It is easy to get to and close to a grocery store, shops and restaurants.

The chalet also has a great little waterfall behind it. My ten year old son really loved that. We also found a great waterfall to visit called Screw Auger Falls that is just minutes from the cabin. Our favorite thing about Bethel was the close proximity to the mountains and wildlife. During our visit, we were blessed to see two moose, a bear, a mother and baby fox and dozens of deer.

The owner Chris was easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful. We plan on staying at the Brook Chalet the next time we return.

Maine Hiking Getaway

My wife an I had an excellent stay at the Brook Chalet. We came to Maine to day hike but wanted a comfortable place to relax at night. The house is new, is well maintained, and clean. The house was very spacious and equipped with everything that we needed during the week. The Flat Screen TV with Satellite, Internet, XBox, and Pool Table were all fantastic. The property has a lot of privacy but is close enough to other houses that you don't feel isolated. There is a great wrap around deck that was perfect for reading. The property is less than a 10 minute drive to the town of Bethel where there are shops, restaurants, and a small movie theater. Bethel is centrally located between Grafton Notch and Evans Notch and there are many great hiking trails in the area. This is an excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and the view of the mountains breathtaking. Only 10 minutes to Sunday River and the town of Bethel. We wish we could have stayed longer because there were so many things we wanted to do. Can't wait to book the next trip!

My family have stayed in both the Brook and Bethel Chalets and had a wonderful time in both. I have two preschool children and it worked out great. Excellent location. We will return!

We rented the Brooke Chalet with a group of friends and it was the perfect layout to accommodate us. The location is amazing right near Sunday River and we will definitely be back to enjoy other seasons as well.
