QUIET OCEANFRONT PRIVATE HOME -- SEE WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT !

WoW! All I can say is thankfully this owner cares about her property. I was able to contact her at the last minute from the D.R.and rent this clean, airy, bright, spacious location with a fabulous view.
Several changes have been made since my visit last year, a new safe,new lounge chairs, new linens, fresh paint and more are in the works.
I made the mistake of renting at a different location and was absolutely miserable. The other location had mold in the fridge,linens and shower curtains were moldy, no potable water,no coffee maker or toaster. Took 3 days to clean it!
As soon as the renters in Kathie's place left, her crew came in, did a complete clean and I was greeted by her property manager.
I arrived early but was able to leave our suitcases, place our groceries in the fridge and go for lunch as the cleaning continued. Even had ironed sheets!
Any item we required was dealt with quiclky and efficiently by the property manager.
The internet was up and running as soon as I logged in and finally I felt like I was on vacation.
Of course adding to the feeling of well being was our next door neighbours J & D and their kindness and the security services provided by Antoine as he patrolled the area throughout the night.
Lesson learned...don't wait till the last minute to book and you get what you pay for. This location has great value for the money and will be sure to help you create great memories.

Jan 30 to Feb 27, 2011. We spent a month at this lovely location listening to the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze. Some days we were port masters watching the cruise ships, ocean transports and sail boats cruise by and in the evening we sat on the upper deck watching flights come and go to the gentle sounds of the ocean and watching the constellations.
2 bright bedrooms with plenty of closet space....because a woman needs more than 3 pairs of shoes,clean, comfortable and plenty of space for everyone, loved the on site laundry. Made everything so much easier. Loved cooking with a gas stove.
Lovely beach just around the bend, We rented lounge chairs for the month at a reduced rate but keep in mind that the beach is seperated into sections and chair renters have a defined area so chose your location before you make your deal.
Great food at the Catamaran Restaurant at the end of the beach,easy access to the grocery store and anything else you needed in the community. Would recommend SoloMios as well as the German Bakery for great meals.
Safe, friendly environment, our neighbours D & J were great and it was nice to see the flashlight of the security guard patrolling continously all night. Thanks Anton!!
Brought some school supplies as well anything we did not use up...ie cereal, rice, pasta, shampoo, bug spay....etc, to the orphanage just outside the gates of Costambar on the left. Also a good place to drop off your left over pesos.
We met some great people in the area and felt very secure walking back and forth to the store even when the power was out. Kathie and Mike, you have a great place and thanks for all your advise prior to the trip and everything you did to make your stay so enjoyable.
