Sandy Beach a pleasant 5 minute walk. Feel the ocean breezes & hear the waves just 100 yds away while you drift off to sleep; enjoy the privacy of a single family home ON THE OCEAN. 9 hole golf course. Safe, quiet gated community. Lovely uncrowded sandy beach with friendly local beach bars/restaurants. Many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Community of mostly expats from US, Canada, Italy, Germany -- which is one reason all the food is so good! Two small grocery stores nearby. Internet cafe. Taxi stand. Bus tour group within community if you want to venture out and about for safari tours, snorkeling, horse riding, catamaran ocean cruise,etc-- but you really have all the necessities right in our village. Casino and Oceanworld 5-10 min drive to next community. This is our Paradise and home away from home

Guest bedroom with 2 twin beds (can be put together to make a king sized bed). Closet, full guest bathroom. Two living room areas - one with a foldout couch to sleep two more people. Fully furnished & equipped newly remodeled kitchen on oceanside (doing breakfast dishes isn't so bad when you can look at the ocean at the same time !!). Private, spacious oceanfront patio with barbeque area. Upstairs outside deck with beautiful ocean view ! Friendly residents. Nice easy walk to beach within minutes. So many great restaurants at surprisingly reasonable prices !!!! Enjoy cerveza on the beach with new friends! Karaoke, game nights, trivia nights, etc at local bars. Gym, library. Brand new casino a 5 min drive to next village. Playa Dorado is a short drive with many more restaurants, shops, etc. 9 hole locally owned golf course.

Notes: Great beach for kids since it is quiet and has shallow areas. Great beach for those who want quiet, restful and relaxing vacations also !!! House has wheelchair accessible entrance.....don't know for sure about bathrooms. I have furnished the house with some games, books, photo album of our reconstruction, and area info. What to do: Main sightseeing attractions in the nearby city of Puerto Plata include the historic fort, Fuerte de San Felipe, the Brugal Rum Distillery, where you can take a guided tour of how they make their rum, the Amber Museum, and the Malecon or boardwalk, where you can find typical Dominican restaurants and enjoy views of the port and Atlantic Ocean. Take a cable car to the top of nearby Mount Isabel de Torres (you can see Mount Isabel from our community) to see the botanical gardens and statue of Christ the Redeemer and have a spectacular view of Puerto Plata and surrounding areas. COFRESI is the next village to the west where there is a brand new casino, Ocean World and Marina. Easy To Do As Much Or As Little As You Want While You Are Here !!

The Perfect Get Away

We had a wonderful time at this home. It is kept in pristine condition and is the newest home on the street. It is in a quiet gated area, where there was not even a thought of safety. The beach was so close, we had no trouble heading there after lunch in the gorgeous patio. Everything that we ever needed was available and we would definitely stay here again. Shops and a pharmacy is within a pleasant 10 minute walk. Relaxation was definitely the word of the vacation.

Nice clean home close to beach with spectacular views of ocean. Quiet community with great restaurants nearby. Owners & Property Manager are very friendly and go over and beyond with accommodating your needs!

while the house is situated in a quiet area close to the beach, the frequent light outage was a problem for us. The property has inverter power that somewhat equalize the power outage. The overall property was clean and nice wit a few extra that the golf lovers could appreciate.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review, jack ! Yeah, the power does go off but the inverter kicks right in to take care of things --although it may have caused you some problems since you use your computer a lot (vacation, remember !!?).
We hope your aunt enjoys our beautiful quiet home !
