Copper Mountain is known as the “Local’s Favorite.” Located in the heart of Colorado's ski country, you are only a short drive to nearby ski areas such as Breckenridge and Keystone (20 minutes), Arapahoe Basin and Loveland (25 minutes), Vail (25 minutes), Beaver Creek (30 minutes), Winter Park (80 minutes) and Steamboat Springs (90 minutes). There is a free shuttle service from Copper Mountain to all of the Summit County resorts. Also, if you are flying in to the area, Copper Mountain is only 90 minutes from Denver International Airport, and you can make arrangements with Colorado Mountain Express take you from the airport to your door.
Okay – now how about the summer? Enjoy the award-winning 18-hole Copper Creek Golf Course, or rock climbing (a climbing wall is located right next door to Taylor's Crossing.) There is great mountain biking and hiking, road biking on the bike paths connected all over Summit County, horseback riding, fishing for the kids and paddle boats & bumper boats
