A charming stone cottage, romantic and secluded, open fires and sea views. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, this cottage is I.T.B approved, and has a four star rating. A large enclosed garden, barbecue area and child's swing. Four large bedrooms all en suite, and decorated traditionally, three double and one twin. Large kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, washer & dryer. Double doors lead to a large drawing room overlooking Ballynakill Harbour, spectacular views of Connemara, Located on a grass covered road. Super privacy. Private parking. Connemara Ponies in the fields outside. We also have an outside BBQ area and you will love the mountain, rivers, lakes & ocean views as you enjoy your chardonnay.

Ross, Moyard, Clifden Connemara. Connemara National Park and tthe great Diamond Mountain are 4 miles away. A great day to be had there. Kylemore Abbey is 4 miles further on from there. Westport is 40 miles from the property, but the fantastic Clifden town is 6 miles south. Plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife there, plus Supervalu and Lidl supermarkets are there. Inishbofin Island is always worth at least a day trip. The ferry leaves daily from Cleggan fishing village, 3 miles away. If you fancy a round of Golf, Connemara Golf Club is open all year with super deals. 095 30 000 is a super local taxi service and babysitters can be arranged if you need them. Bring your surfboards and bikes. Explore the grounds of Ballinahinch Castle some day. Boat Trips in Leenane, Surfing in Dunloughan. Beach walking at Ross beach 1/2 mile away.

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful area

Grace's cottage was absolutely perfect for our family vacation and just as described in the brochure. There were seven of us in our party (grandparents, parents and three children), but the property still felt very spacious with all of us in it. This was one of the best equipped properties we have rented; the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and we never needed to improvise or "make do". The property was extremely comfortable and well-maintained with good quality furnishings and lots of thoughtful touches throughout. We found it a great location for touring the local sights as there were things to see when driving out in each direction. Having made it all the way to the top of one the hills in the Connemara National Park, our young boys were deligted to be reminded of their achievement when they got back to the cottage each day and could see it in the stunning view from the living room window. The owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this property.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Grace’s Cottage Connemara. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and really well equipped and maintained. It is spacious yet so cosy and has lots of nice touches. We felt at home straightaway and really enjoyed relaxing at the turf fire after each day’s activities. The setting is absolutely stunning with great views of mountains, countryside and sea. It is so peaceful and quiet yet is really well placed as a base for exploring Connemara. There are even some lovely walks starting from the doorstep of the cottage.
Michelle, the owner of the cottage, is a lovely host who made us really welcome and it was reassuring to know that she was just a phone call away if we needed help or advice.
We found the combination of Grace’s Cottage and the beaches and scenery of Connemara to be a special tonic for mind, body and soul and we enjoyed the experience so much that we have decided to return next year for a two- week stay at the cottage.
I highly recommend Grace’s Cottage to you – I very much doubt that you will find a better combination of location and cottage quality in Connemara or even all of Ireland!

The romantic cottage is situed in a nice and quiet place, not far from the Connemara's National Park. It is very well equiped and the hostess Michele is a very charming lady.

Ce cottage est charmant et vraiment très bien équipé.Situé près du parc du Connemara et pas très loin de la mer, c'est une location idéale pour parcourir les divers points d'intérets de la région.En plus de cela, Michèle est une hôte très sympathique.Nous ne pouvons que le recommander.Anne

Michelle, thanks very much for your great cottage. Everything worked and the kids loved the quiet country lane outside for all their antics.
Not to mention walking to the beach every evening.
Even when we ate out in Cleggan, Letterfrack & Clifden, the experiences we had were unforgettable.

Will be back next May.
