Razor cave farm is only rented by the week! It is not a weekend party destination. All guests are required to show an appropriate amount of consideration for the operations of this working horse farm and the farms of our neighbors. No loud outdoor parties or feeding, petting or other contact with any horses in residence at any farm on iron works pike will be tolerated. Thoroughbred horses are not pets, many are young and can be dangerous, not to mention the actual value of such animals to there owners. Private behind the scenes horse farm tours can be arranged through a wonderful service by a local entrepreneur. Also the Kentucky horse park less than 5 miles away where you can safely ride ponies, trail ride and learn everything you want to know about horses during your visit to the horse capital of the world! Razor Cave Farm is located on the Park Avenue of the horse industry, nestled between well known farms such as Spendthrift, Gainseway, Elmendorf, Castleton Lyons, Spindletop and Cobra Farms just to name a few.

The large manicured lawn is perfect for entertaining. The Pawley's island hammock in the front yard and the front porch swing will make relaxing easy to do. Both the front porch and back patio provide picturesque views of the Bluegrass and boast some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever experience.

The interior of the home is elegantly furnished and the kitchen is more than fully equipped to give all guests the feeling of being at home.

Lovely Home- Great Location

If you are looking for privacy with a great view you will love this house.
Also it is in a great location within reach of all the Lexingtons sights. Did not encounter any problems as stated in the one bad review. Also the cave is worth checking out and did not see any danger if you use commen sense. Would stay again. Also spoke with the owner and he was very receptive to our needs.

UNSAFE AND DIRTY

My family traveled to Kentucky from California and rented this unacceptable property. Do not stay here!! It was disgustingly dirty - cigarette butts in a plant pot welcomed us at the door, floors dirty and unvacuumed (no vacuum cleaner in the house!), old moldy food in refridge, caked old food in oven and microwave, the linens were substandard with no mattress pads. No supplies. The greasy spot on the furniture from someone's head was icing on the cake. The "cave entrance" is so unsafe and dangerous, don't bring children here. The owner was unresponsive and rude. We spent over 2 hours cleaning and found another place to stay after 2 horrible nights there. The owner would not have it cleaned professionally or refund any of our money. It is a great shame that this property is still listed. There are many other great rentals in town, find them instead. Stay away from any of this owner's rentals!!

We had a spectacular time at Razor Cave! It was, without a doubt, the most relaxing, beautiful and memorable family vacation we've ever had! Priceless, being with the ones you love in this wonderful place....horses all around, space to close your eyes and take in the peacefulness of the farm! If you are looking for beauty and serenity, this is the place for you! A huge "thank you" to the owners for sharing this special place with us!
