Villa Palazzetta is set in a panoramic residential area right on the border between the lakeside towns of Domaso and Gravedona on the north-western shore of Lake Como and is about 100 meters from the lake (in a straight line.... to walk to the lake side is a bit longer way... about 400 meters - about 1 kilometer to public beaches of Domaso - over 1 kilometer of pebble stone beach) A lovely panoramic promenade along a limited-traffic road will take you ( five minute walk ) to the center of Domaso with restaurants, trattoria, bars, groceries, etc. Enormous French windows flood the ground floor dining area and living room, furnished in comfortable country style and the modern fitted kitchen at the rear of this room. A French window leads out from the living room to the covered patio with built in BBQ and wood-driven oven (just perfect for real Italian pizza!) for shady lunches in the heat of the day or candle-lit dinners ...

Within a 10 minute walk. there are bar, restaurants, pizzeria, shops, grocery stores, post office, bank, fitness center, beauty salon and hair dresser, bus and boat stop for your day trips. Domaso is the best place on Lake Como for Windsurfing ( you'll find two of the best schools in Europe within a two minute walk from the villa) and also for all water activities (swimming, Sailing, Water-skiing, power boat riding, fishing). Great trails for Mountain biking, or just walking. A great Golf course (18h.) is just 20Km away. Day trips to world-famous spots like Bellagio, St.Moritz, Lugano, Milano, Como by either bus, boat, car or train, find an ideal starting point in Domaso. My friend Daniele is usually very happy to show my guests around his winery here in Domaso (5 minute walk from the villa) and have them taste his wonderful wine

HIKING: Every week, I organize a hike through the mountains that surround lake Como (length and difficulty to be decided based on what you want to do and what you want to see) or in the St.Moritz area (1 hour drive away): I will be more than happy to have you join me!!

BOAT: I am also availble as skipper (with navigation licence) so if you want to rent a big power boat but are not entitled to drive it I can do it for you...
