Marco Island is the Largest of the Florida 10,000 Island's, and the Only Inhabited One. Spectacular White Sand Beaches Line the Gulf of Mexico Coastline. From Beach Combing to Nightlife to Fine Dining & Everglades Adventures Marco Island Offers an Experience Unlike Any Other. A Word About Beach Access on Marco Island... While all beaches on Marco Island are public there are only two locations to access the beach. One is 'Tigertail' at the North end of the beach and the other is 'South Beach' at the South end of the island. Roads do not dead end into the beach and the beachfront properties do not provide public access. Nearly all homes on Marco Island require one to drive to the beach. This, as even if a home is only three blocks from the beachfront, you will have to use a car and drive parallel to the beach a mile or two to get to one of these access points and parking. Marco Island is a small island with max speed limits of 30MPH and you can get anywhere by car within 5 minutes.

Very Cozy Home

We stayed at this home over the 4th of July holiday and had a great time! Lots of space, very clean and the interior was not the typical generic rental. This kitchen was real well equipped and had more stuff then my home.

My Husband and boys fished off the dock and caught lots of catfish and one prized snook, which we promptly fried on the poolside grill. The pool had lots of toys and an excellent outdoor seating area where we spent most of our time besides the beach. The beach on Marco is so far superior than the Sanibel area that it is not even funny. The sand is like white sugar and is cool on the feet and the sea is much calmer and clearer.

The house location was excellent as we could get anywhere on Marco Island within 5 minutes. The kids rode bikes to the beach which took about 5 or 10 minutes. We found Marco Island excellent for families and very low stress.
