The seaside village of Cedar Key, Florida is rich in history and is surrounded by the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge and the Lower Swanee National Wildlife Refuge. Birding is here at its finest. Fishing, both flats and deep sea is excellent. Art co-ops are abundant in the village where local fine art can be purchased. First magnitude springs are nearby where Manatees can be spotted. Snorkeling and swimming in these magnificent springs is a must. Sunbathing and swimming on the private beaches of the NWR islands reached by Kayak will create memories to last...well at least till you can return again to this island treasure.
