Impossible to be disappointed!
While there are several larger and very nice places along this beach row, most are just houses on the beach, but this one is truly a beach house. Aluminum siding, shingled roof, and a bay window? Forget it! Try wood shake exterior and a tin roof with glass everywhere and screened openings at the bottoom of each for bringing the breeze through the entire house. This cottage is perfectly designed and makes the best use of its space to accomodate a moderate-to-large number of both kids and adults, keeping them from running into each other as they tend to their individual vacation needs, but easily bringing them all together in one spot when it's time for whole family fun. Set a little further down the row, wake up in the morning to the dew sliding off the roof patting on the wooden deck and the fog horn in the distance; when the sun breaks through later, go swimming on the quieter and unencroached beach right outside the door or take a walk up to the large beach to join in on the water fun with others. Everything you need in the kitchen and outdoor gas grill to make some great meals (although fresh seafood is strangely difficult to track down in the stores). After you watch a sublime storm slowly move in across the lake, head inside and grab a book, as they have everything from informational books and John Grisham to David Sedaris and romance titles in the reading nook and widows peak (which is also an excellent venue for a board game). After playing a round of golf or strolling about, grab some wine and fudge from in town and prepare yourself for a long evening, because they tend to be perfect!
