This was a really nice unit and MUCH NICER than staying in Waikiki. It's right on a sandy beach and is oceanfront, which is not easy to come by on Oahu. The ocean there is quite calm, not too deep, and great for swimming. The unit was beautifully decorated and very well equipped with with lots of towels, big closet, lots of dishes and cutlery, nice cooking pots, very nice coffeepot, full size fridge, etc., etc. (Great kitchen.) There is no air conditioning (which would be nice), but since it is on the windward side you can arrange windows and doors so that there is a steady breeze blowing through. The couch only makes a single bed and we added the futon to make it comfortable. (Luckliy we had brought an aero bed with us for our 4th person.)

we stayed here 1-9-09 thur 1-22-09/so peaceful and quiet and the view is incredible and relaxing/condo is very well equiped and so comfy/king bed is wonderful with overhead fan/great having a washer & dryer..we packed very lite..hope to return some day/ beach towels, mats and kids'beach pails included/just could of used beach chairs as mats are tough on an older back/ a wonderful place though

Older Building, but well maintained. The condo was recently redecorated and very neat and clean. The view was straight out off of a postcard. The only down fall is no central air conditioning, which is rare to have in Hawaii.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Nice but Problematic

The unit was nice - lovely beach, nicely decorated. Some things were wrong but easily overlooked (kitchen lights were shorting out, range died and had been replaced with a borrowed one that didn't work very well). Didn't like the fact that the unit was on the main road and the windows in the bedroom (facing this road) didn't completely close (louvered type) so we had to sleep with earplugs due to constant loud traffic and trucks all night. The real deal breaker was trying to get our refundable damage deposit back - took three months and about 12 requests.

Swimming along the coastline in safe crystal clean waters!
Walking the white sandy beach shores! Awesome place.
The owner thought of everything!
Will come back to stay longer next time.
