This newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage offers a laundry room, reading nook and kitchen/living area with a wood burning fireplace. The cottage is located in a small village 20 minutes away from Pennsylvania's first stand alone slots casino, 6 ski areas, shopping galore including a 100+ store outlet complex, wineries, hiking trails including nearby access to Appalachian Trail, numerous golf courses, large weekend flea market and Pocono raceway. Half-hour away from Triple A Yankees and Triple A Phillies baseball stadiums. Located 1 1/2 hours from NYC and Philadelphia with convenient access to major highways. Cottage includes everything (even linens) except your toiletries, clothing, food and favorite CDs and DVDs.

A Cottage for All Seasons: The beauty of our cozy cottage is that you can either stay in and relax or you can choose to be busy every moment of the day enjoying all the attractions offered in the the Poconos and Lehigh Valley. Our cottage is located on a quiet 25 mph road with quiet neighbors. There is always a nice summer breeze flowing through the cottage or you can turn on the air conditioning if it is too hot for you. In the winter you can start a wood-burning fire in the centrally located fireplace. Fill the cottage with the aroma of delicious food cooked on the (gas) stove or you can cook outside on the (gas) grill. We want you to make it your home-away-from-home.

Perfect Location : Our cottage, on the Blue Ridge Mountain in Saylorsburg, PA, is located minutes from Route 33, a corridor that connects with Rt. 78, Rt. 22, Rt. 611, Rt. 209 and Rt. 80, affording you the opportunity to do just about anything you would like to do. We are 10 minutes from the Visitor's Center in Delaware Water Gap where you can find brochures of places to visit as you take in the natural beauty of the Delaware River.

Cozy Cottage Stay

First off, the people who we rented from were friendly, accommodating and wonderful hosts (they baked us brownies!) The cottage itself was extremely comfy and warm. It had all the amnemities, such as clean linens, towels, garbage bags, kitchenware, candles, dvd player, etc. We just went shopping and cooked at "home" every day. It was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and we might even go back up again in the summer when we can make use of the gas grill there for a bar-b-que. It was an excellent, romantic New Years for us.

Simply awesome

Wife and I rented it for a nice October weekend in 08. The owners are a family that live nearby and were very kind and helpful. The house was very nicely up kept and very clean with an ocean theme (I found that off for it being in the mountains but it is very nice nevertheless), everything was included down to the very small details such as paper towels and all different kinds of kitchenware that we certainly made use of (perhaps this was the thing that impressed me the most).
The house is located very conveniently around the corner from the highway ramp and you can get to most places of interest within a 15 min drive (there are a couple that were 20-30 min, still not bad at all). The parking could be more convenient for pulling out but this is negated by the fact that the road it is on is a very low volume 25MPH road as mentioned in the Ad.
For the Halloween time there is a place around the corner that is very good, and is happens to be the first "fright-house" that actually gave me a scare - there are multiple floors and the scares are more than just people behind a wall or bars saying "Boo", but I digress.
All in all the house and the owners made it a definite first choice for us to book for out next mountain getaway.

My partner and I rented this cabin for my 40th birthday. It was a wonderful weekend! The cabin was clean, well appointed with everything you could think of, and 'homey'. Close to lots of attractions, but also ideal if you just want a romantic weekend. Will most definitely visit again!

Quaint getaway

Three friends and I stayed here on a snowboarding trip to camelback mt. The rental was very cute with a cabin feel and just 15 minutes away from the mountain. It was stocked with all of the essentails and more right down to the fireplace set up for our arrival! Each room was adorably decorated with an ocean theme. Everything was clean and well organized and the owners were very attentive, giving easy to follow directions to the house as well as leaving directions to camelback for us. I am most definitely considering another stay and would recommend it to anyone wishing a fun getaway.
