Beautiful vacation home in quiet gulf-front community at the causeway to Honeymoon Island and Caladesi State Park. Their sandy beaches, voted America's best (twice!) are a short walk or bike ride away. This recently renovated home is one block from world famous golf and the lovely walking and biking Pinellas Trail. From this wonderful home you can walk to grocery stores, restaurants, sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets. Clearwater Beach, its restaurants, and fun family activities are only ten minutes by car. This bright and lovely Florida home offers the comforts of all new furniture and beds. The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, armoire with TV, walk-in closet and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has one double bed and one twin bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The sparkling new kitchen is open concept and is fully equipped with new appliances and kitchenware.

This area is a paradise for birders and nature lovers. Nearby Caladesi and Honeymoon Islands offer a preserve for birding, shelling, kayaking, and memorable sunsets. There is plentiful fishing and day sailing available in the secluded, friendly waters off the causeway. The quaint town of Dunedin offers shopping, antiquing, and many fine and reasonably priced restaurants. This home is equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and golf clubs.

Busch Gardens and the Ford Amphitheatre are only a little over 30 minutes away. Disney and Universal are less than two hours by car. Tampa International Airport is only a 30 minute drive. Downtown Tampa and St Petersburg are also nearby. Their museums and cultural events offer year round entertainment.

The home is located in a peaceful gulf-front community at Dunedin's beautiful causeway. It is just one street in from the gulf. Relax and unwind on the screened-in lanai and observe gulf-coast birds in the large back yard. This is truly natural Florida at its finest.

We just stayed in this home for the 2nd time. It is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated that has everything you need for a home away from home feeling. Honeymoon Island was our favorite spot to hang out in the afternoons. I highly recommend this home to everyone!

Quiet and Comfortable

We arrived on a Friday afternoon in mid May. Everything was just as Sheila had instructed. We made the beds and skipped over to the 2 minute away Publix to get groceries....then the Walgreens across the street to get booze. We made breakfast each day. They have everythng in this place including stuff in the cupboards that you can use...and replace when empty. We left 8 beer for the next renters. The place was very clean, everything worked - no issues. We would have like a BBQ to grill outside but if there was one we couldn't find it. We dined at Flanagans in Dunedin - a dump but good beer and food. We also dined at The Island Grill in Clearwater - EXCELLENT! The fishing and golf was great too. Overall, perfect.

Dunedin vacation home

This comfortable, well-equipped home was perfect for our family's Thanksgiving get-together. The quiet residential area is very close to Honeymoon Island and the Pinellas Trail. We were delighted to have the family pass to Honeymoon Island State Park, where we enjoyed the new nature center, walks, and sunsets. The young girls loved shelling. They also enjoyed the Leepa-Rattner Art Museum in Tarpon Springs, which has a terrific children's activity area.
The restaurants in Dunedin welcome children (Casa Tina provided crayons and placemats for coloring). We also recommend a couple of newer spots: Strahan's (ice cream) and Walt's (upscale, seasonal cuisine).
The owner is a pleasure to deal with. She was accessible and attentive. We definitely hope to rent the property again.

Dunedin Delightful

This house was just what we were looking for. It is beautifully furnished and would be great for most any type of travelers to the Clearwater area.
The owners have done their homework on getting this house ready to rent, just open the door and you'll feel at home.
Dunedin has a great little village feel to it, with some excellent dining choices.
We took at dolphin cruise out of Clearwater Harbor. It's very easy to get to Clearwater, Tampa and Honeymoon Island is just around the corner.
I hope not to say too many nice things about the place or it might not be open next time we want to go to Florida, and we definitely would like to stay there again.

This house is nicely located, clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The owners had cupboards stocked with seasoning and oils, etc, making cooking easy. We really enjoyed our weeklong stay and hope to return again in the future.
