Description of the South Lake Tahoe vacation cabin rental
This property is located in the historic Bijou Pines Neighborhood. This area of South Lake Tahoe is known as 'The Lost Jewel of South Lake Tahoe.' A majority of the homes are second homes. It is a great neighborhood to take a walk and admire the historic Tahoe Cabins of yesterday. One can also walk to the South Lake Tahoe Recreation area which has a heated swimming pool, ice skating, golf, and various courts and fields. Or you can stay inside the cabin, sit by the gas fire and read a book. The inside has slate and carpeted floors with knotty pine walls. The kitchen comes fully equipped for your use. The backyard is fenced for the children. The driveway is long enough to back a boat into.
The lake is just 1/2 mile away along with Regan and El Dorado Beaches and public boat launch. Safeway, laundromats, banks, bowling alley, etc. are also 1/2 mile away. Heavenly Valley 1 3/4 miles, Stateline, Village, and Conference Center 4 miles.
